If Predacons Rising Megatron had got a regular toy (Not just a Constructbots one) then I would say that could have been slightly altered into Makeshift perhaps.

1) I 'll shut up about Makeshift now but just to quickly defend myself from accusations of cluelessness or poor memory

I will conclude with ; I'm well aware of the Predacon's Rising "Unicron Megatron" Cyberverse Commander toy as I own him and he's sitting on the shelf 3 feet away from me now.

2) I was referring 'specifically' to the appearance of the character in the animation and his alternative vehicle mode in that like Makeshift he was spikey

3) When I said Predacons Rising Megatron didn't get a toy I mean he didn't get a toy that 'resembled the cartoon' other than the Constructbots one.

4) So the point is that the only spikey Megatrons possibly suitable for Makeshift is The constructbot or the Sharkticon Megatron with a new head.

I didn't mention the Cyberverse Commander toy as I was talking about the TV show likeness for the same reason I didn't recommend the Voyager Megatron either as was also not suitable to the case in point which is the extra-spikey appearance.

5) Further more I was using the term 'Regular toy' as a short hand for a toy that is part of the main bulk of a line meaning Legends/Deluxe/Voyager etc... and not any products that don't scale and are a separate thing like Super size Bumblebee's Titan PVC's or Legion / Cyberverse toys.

This is all academic now anyway as with so many other villains in RID and the unlike the Takara line minimal instances of mould / character reuse from Transformers Prime (except in a very minor way) the chances of Makeshift getting a toy other than via Fun pub seems pretty small - unless Predacons Rising eventually gets translated to Japanese and they decide to make a toy specifically for Japan. which would then be an issue for the "Adventures" line I suppose.



I may not be on the ball all the time with every minute detail, but neither am I completely clueless. especially as I live in the country that actually got Predacons Rising Cyberverse Commander toys and some stock of the Beast Hunters Constructbots as well.

That's just a repaint of the regular Commander class Megatron. The newer design had larger spikes on shoulders and a completely different vehicle mode

Oh I know, but that doesnt change the fact that there was a unicron megatron toy. I just want people to get the facts straight especially since quite a few havent heard of this cyberverse figure since it never came to the US.

Truth is, the average fan who might not know as much would simply never get those toys. I was lucky, a friend helped me get Brainstorm at the same price that it would have cost me to buy him in store in canada and as you know, the takara arcee was just a few dollars more than hasbro retail at TRU. BUT I was never able to find a way to get chromia at a price close to retail.

(however, I preffer that Bludgeon over Chromia, and I am sure I wouldnt be the only one, if others had a chance to experience him )

Keep it on topic guys ... if you want to discuss what could have been, take it to another thread, if you want to theorise what Makeshift's body looks like, take it to another thread. Lets keep this one about existing/upcoming TF:RiD figures.

So what you're actually saying is that Makeshift's altmode is a Cybertronian jet similar to Megatron. But I still want to know what kind of vehicle would best describes Pseudo`s altmode if he ever has one or already has?

That's probably the easiest thing. Kmart/Sears will take online returns in store.

He's never been in his own alt-mode, though he has copied Grimlock's and, IIRC, Drift's.

I was almost one them. I'd like to thank whoever warned me.

Hope it actually shows up soon, though. I like Thunderhoof's design and the RiD line needs Decepticons badly.

NemesisPrimal, I didn't say that Pseudo already has a vehicle mode. I'm saying that if he were to have one, what is the name of the vehicle that best describes his altmode? Could it be this if he were to scan one?:

If not, could he be something else? After all, he is a ladybug larva in robot form. From what we know is that since Makeshift has a body similar to that of Megatron (if his body was ever shown, he would certainly be an altered version of Megatron's Cybertronian jet mode).

Malador and Nightstrike's altmodes were never shown, but many believed that Malador turns into a muscle car and Nightstrike turns into some sort of a plane.
