This voyager Prime is my G1 Prime, the movies were my gateway, and this will always be MY Prime!

Man, if you have even a passing interest in jetfire/jetfire prime, you need to jump on him, he's so good, like, top 5 of the year so far for me, he is so screen accurate, and his poseability is disgusting, and jetfire prime is great; though, if you're willing to wait, you can get jetfire and leader prime and have the best of all worlds

I'm so glad none of the stores near me have had SS32 I'm trying to avoid getting him to combine with Jetfire cause I already know I'm getting the DOTM release, but I know that if I see him near me, I'll find a way to justify owning both figures The good reviews of him do make me really excited for the leader though

That's entirely fair, only reason not to, is if you have a strong need to display both in combined mode at the same time - or you're impatient

That is a very good point, at the time I hadn’t even thought about that, Leader OP and Jetfire combo. That definitely sounds awesome.
Totally agree about OP and Jetfire’s looks. Every time I see Jetfire it does get harder to turn down. He is not like Grimlock and Blackout (sitting on the shelves). From what I have seen he generally goes pretty quick. Guess i got my next mission,

He is so well balanced! and he is so solid too. He's a lot like Jazz: He is just so much fun. He might not technically be the best, but my gosh is he loads and loads of fun!

He and my TLK Bee are going to work tomorrow. It might not be the right Bee for the fight, but they are gonna have a great brawl tomorrow!

Also just combined Prime with Jetfire for the first time. Holy cow, the combination is insane and genius! Bonecrusher will be the deskbot Thursday, and not sure about Friday yet. But OP and jetfire are waiting until next week I think. Or maybe they'll be Thursday/Friday!

Brawls a pretty good figure himself! He's a nice voyager, they've really killed that size class in this line

My SS-38 arrived today. Very nice looking, this is what Optimus Prime should have looked since the first live-action film. And none of that mouth nonsense, either!

Though the hands and bottom of the crotch were clearly supposed to be blue. Ever since the brand-unification thing there is no "perfect" version (deco wise) of the regular figures anymore. I miss Takara's attention to detail.

Anyways regarding the mold, I didn't expect it to have so many moving panels & parts. Feels like something always untabs somewhere when I pose him. Anyone else experiencing this? Like the panels on his lower arms, the grey one on his inner lower leg, the back, etc.

And does he roll on all six wheels? (Wish they had used the truck from the "Bumblebee" movie rather than the one from AoE.)

Like with the Siege line, the head motion is quite limited, more so with this one. Overall I like him a lot. It's easily the best looking figure from the film continuity.

btw, there's a small paint blotch, any tips on how to remove it without making it worse?

I didn't have a voyager version of Prime in this form, so I am so glad to have this one. He is fantastic and I love him. MY G1 Prime has gotten a great modern update and I could not be happier!

"Movie 1" meaning the #32 retool of course

Both hitches are 5mm ports since they're able to accommodate weaponry, but that's not the only thing one should look at. If I'm not mistaken the hitch for #38 Bumblebee Optimus Prime is set lower than the #32 Movie 1 one.

Just a note, I say "#32" and #38" for clarity, because "SS-##" is used by TakaraTomy, and the numbers do not align.
