Do not think it's a rule. I never ever saw Scorponok in store. And I never saw it on sale ever. But that Cybertron Metroplex? Available like roaches and went on clearance. But that's the only one.

You were lucky with that Scorponok. But it could be a once-in-a-lifetime thing only.

Scorn is looking like a great toy, I am beyond stoked with these Titan Dinos!

Megatron looks awesome, and that little accessory based dragon is a cute toyetic touch I love.

I'll pass on most of the deluxes.

Shockwave looks like he has skinny forearms which look weird.

I am all in on Nautica and Shredhead!

Today I bring you the newest member of the hive. Age of Extinction Bee.

That leg transformation is nothing short of amazing. Plastic origami at its best.
Eyes that will stare into your sole, and a some what lackluster weapon.

Camaro mode is fantastic. Its gotta be the tiniest painted Chevy logo ever.

Overall he is better than the previous 07 Movie Bee and its retools.

I actually don't really care for AoE Bee. For me, the turnoff is, that except for the wheels and the grill of the car, the entire rest of the car becomes his giant boots, and are somewhat ridiculous in proportion to the rest of the bot. The grill doesn't even get used and just hangs off the shoulders in bot mode. Car mode is very nice, but that is really the only redeeming factor for me. Bot mode is pretty much a fail in my book.

That's the curse of the movies designs, especially at Generations scale/price.
Most have no choice but to be shellformers. Especially the licenced deluxe cars.

Yeah, but the way it becomes his boots is fairly impressive.
Unfortunately given the cgi model’s impossible robot mode with no car kibble anywhere is not physically doable in real life, it was either this, or having an entire car hanging off his back.

Did you have your original pre-order cancelled? Are you a Target Circle member, and/or did you request Target notify you when they were back in stock? The reason I ask is that I had mine cancelled and just got a notification today that they were back in stock and one was in may cart as long as I checked out in the next 24 hours. I'm not sure if they are only offering to those who were cancelled, or just those who requested notification or whatever, but might be worth a look.

That, I'm sure of. So far, all recent Generations figures got reissued, even those from the Target exclusive boxsets. So yeah, a re-release of SS86 Screamers is certain.

Studio Series MTMTE Collection Prowl and the Insecticons have finally surfaced at Target.com after Target canceled many pre-orders for the figures around their originally scheduled July release. Better yet, they're currently available to ship — and somehow already 20% off.

Target still lists a July 19, 2026 street date for both releases, so it appears the delayed availability never caught up with whatever pricing schedule Target had planned for them. Whatever the reason, fans who missed out after their pre-orders were canceled now have another shot at both releases for less than retail.

Transformers Studio Series MTMTE Collection Insecticons

Target has the three-pack available now for $63.99, down from $79.99. Bombshell, Shrapnel and Kickback feature movie-inspired deco based on their appearances in The Transformers: The Movie, and the set also includes six pink glow-in-the-dark Energon cubes.



Transformers Studio Series MTMTE Collection Prowl

Prowl is currently available for $22.39, down from $27.99. The figure features his classic movie-inspired Autobot police car deco, converts between robot and vehicle modes, and includes his blaster and removable police siren bar.



Both releases are part of Hasbro's MTMTE Collection celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie.

Voyager Class Starscream was another MTMTE Collection release affected by Target's canceled pre-orders, but unlike Prowl and the Insecticons, there is still no sign of him being available to order again. For now, Starscream remains the missing piece of this delayed Target assortment.

The timing was dumb luck. Target has a storewide sale of 20% off all transformers this week which is why the prices are lower then when they first popped up. Next week they will be back to full price. Regular releases are also 20% off. Those who had Starscream cancelled and requested Target to notify them when back in stock got an email yesterday that limited quantities were available if you ordered within 24 hours.
