Just tried and nope cos surprisingly Vw Bee has a thicker elbow joint that means Camaro Bee's arm cannon will not fit over it and Vw Bee's puny weapon doesn't fit on Camaro Bee's elbow joint either.

Best way I've found is leave the butt end of the car folded down (behind his lags) and save that for last. I usually fold the side stuff into place (doors, headlights), then plug the roof/hood in, then push arms in place and close the front wheel wells, then finally the car butt. It's definitely annoying to line everything up though.

Since I figured out how to get him to transform properly, he has rocketed way up to one of my faves, plus, he's pocket-sized to boot, so he can go anywhere

My main issue with Jazz was the price. But the toy itself is fine and yes, much better than VW Bee. I just got him today and hate him so much. Mine is defintitely defective due to one of his breastplates not turning, which messes the entire alt mode. Still, even if it worked, I woldnt know how to get that alt mode to tab together. Those pegs in the back really dont do much. I have a replacement on the way, we will see.

Yeah, he's beserker/crankcase levels of everything wrong with movie figures (too many tabs which leads to a higher chance of qc issues wrecking one or more modes)
Jazz I was okay with the price mainly b/c of all the paint, and b/c it felt like he had just as much meticulous effort put into him as any of the other figures - and certainly more than crankcase
william-james88 wrote:Berserker and Crankcase are a breeze compared to VW Bee. I honestly think there is something wrong with that toy's design.

He's got a whole hive going now!

His design and alt mode is so different from one movie to the next that it makes sense to have several. 70s camaro, beetle, new camaro and that cool ass camaro in the begining of AOE. Plus his body changes too, quite drastically in AOE with his chest and pentograms.
I got SS Ironhide today and I like him a lot. Dot have much time to talk but I am surprised he and VW Bee are in the same line since they are so different in the way they are designed. Ironhide is actually simpler but makes for a more enjoyable and elegant transformation. And everything tabs in well. Reminds me a bit of how enjoyable TLK Hound was. ANd i Have 0 issue with calling him a voyager, he has the mass to back it up. My main issue (aside from the bumper which we have all talked to death about) is that one of his gun has fake alt mode kibble. Its ok in robot mode but it looks super silly when plugged to his truck bed in alt mode.
