Crap, it just dawned on me. You know we'll be getting 3rd party balls in our future now, wont we?
And the stupid juvenille in me well be tempted, won't I?
I'd like to imagine we won't... But given the seedier 3rd party groups, maybe? I just know that I'm glad the official version won't have them

I think wrecking balls for SS Devy is nothing for them, and they will make em

3p discussions should be held in the forum for 3p products, I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for there

Hellscream, Trocheman is a new user from what we can see from the amount of board posts, we could a few more pointers than that.
Trocheman, because the subject of 3rd party updates and toys has been divissive in the past, we chose to give all things 3rd party its own forum.
You can discuss upgrades and ask questions here: unlicensed-and-ko-transformers-toys-f215.php
if you dont see a thread that already exists, feel free to create a new topic there.

I found one at the Walmart I work at and the box is damaged, but the figure and Scorponok are not harmed, so if I can get it at a discount (plus my employee discount on top of that) is the figure worth it? I've looked at a couple of reviews, but I'm still not ready to pull the trigger. I like the chopper mode, but not the robot mode. He looks more appealing at $35 than at $50, though.

At 35 i say go for it. Your getting a lot of toy for very little.
Of course, if you are not interested in ROTF Optimus Prime levels of complexity, then stay away.
RoTF Leader Prime is my favorite non-MP TF, I love the complex transformation. So if Blackout is similar, he's definitely worth it. I'll probably pick him up tonight! Thanks!william-james88 wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I'm just now considering picking up Leader Blackout. I got both him and SS Barricade brand new.for 3$ each at Walmart. I immediately jumped for those two. For what I payed, both are great figures, if a little fiddly.
I find both modes on both dudes really good and solid, but the transformation between the two modes of both to be a bit of a hell. Blackout is probably even more fiddly than my ROTF Prime.
I love them both though, despite this

Wait are you saying that you got both Blackout and Barricade for $3 each?

Yeah, brand new and from Walmart, but that was way back in March. I think that was more of a system error or something though. I was going to get them for regular retail, then the cashier told me these items weren't found on their computer, which made sense with Blackout, considering he was a bit old and not many stores carry him, but it didn't quite make sense with Barricade, who was brand new at the time, and there were a ton of him in stock there. The cashier ended up just giving me both for 3$ each, which I was really thankful for![]()
I'm really happy with both figures as I said earlier.
Now, two days later, when I went back to that same Walmart, I ended up getting a new Siege Sideswipe for 4$, so I gotta ask, does this sort of thing happen with you guys at other Walmarts? I found it really strange to have the same thing happen twice.
Rodimus Prime wrote:I'm happy for your good fortune, but I gotta say that cashier must not have much common sense. $3 for a huge toy like Blackout?
