So, the Tribute series... I have a hunch it's not a true movie line, despite the use of Movie Optimus Prime as art. Then again, if the rest of that series focuses on movie figures...

Tribute has it's own thread, so you tried to go back on topic but didn't go back on topic
hehehehehehehe

Right new page so ehm... Looking at AoE exclusives, they follow a similar format with each store chain having its "gimmick" or exclusive character. I wonder what prompted that idea?
Rainmaker wrote:I didn't know AoE had that, care to enlighten me?
JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Rainmaker wrote:I didn't know AoE had that, care to enlighten me?
Certainly:
Target: Silver Knight Optimus Prime
Walmart: Stinger
Toys 'R Us: Evolution 2-packs
Taking "gimmick" rather broadly I admit.

What happens to Walmart exclusives in countries that don't have Walmarts?
JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:At least in the UK, they're in affiliated stores like ASDA and Tesco IIRC. Though I don't know if Stinger was released outside of the US.

I never saw Stinger in the UK. :/

It was noted here for clarity that Deluxe Class Hot Rod is a Walmart exclusive, while Skullitron and Infernocus are Toys R Us exclusives. For Walmart, the exclusive program is called "Autobots Unite" while Toys R Us has "Mission to Cybertron". It was asked during the later Q&A portion of the call whether or not these would be available in other countries. While the specifics were unknown to the team (or unable to be revealed), it was noted that Hasbro did at least offer both the Autobots Unite and Mission to Cybertron exclusive programs globally. In other words, if an Autobots Unite toy shows up somewhere like Argos or Toys R Us in the UK, it's a safe bet that Argos or Toys R Us or wherever picked up that entire exclusive program's line-up of toys - but do note this is my commentary based on what was said, so don't come at me with your pitchforks if that doesn't end up being the case!

They are most apparent in vehicle mode, as you can see below. These images were found on the Hasbro Singapore facebook page but have since been removed.

He's an Autobot

You do realise that there's a COMMA in the middle there! meaning i don't think he was insinuating that Skullitron is a Decepticon

That looks awful, the decoder on the actual robot and I'm not a fan of the red transparent wheels either

BombshellDaBug wrote:Not sure how I feel about that Voyager Prime. On the one hand, the deco looks nice overall. But on the other hand, the translucent plastic is turning me off of this figure.
(Also, I thought Skullitron was confirmed as a Decepticon.)
