broadside works better than A3

Eh, sometimes just the right mix of colours and application can work to bring out a totally different character despite using the exact same body - much like how the Seekers work for me.
Plus Sentinel has a different head and there's the whole feet-swapping thing.

From the little I've seen of him, I totally agree. He seems more like Nova Prime. Either that or Sentinel Prime, which is probably where they get the character. I also dislike the way things look when they transform in that type of artwork. One reason why I loved LSOTW and SOTW is because of how realistic they made the transformations look. In Titans Return it looks more like they're T1000 from Terminator shifting into a completely different texture and shape.

That's very fair; in a lot of continuities - including IDW - he's very much just a massive asshole to show how good it was that Optimus became Prime since the dude before him was nasty as heck. It's especially bad in IDW where, like, EVERY Prime before Optimus was a massive arse.
And of course, he can be seen as pretty one-dimensional in that he basically hates everything - he's racist, he's against the very concept of loving relationships, all that stuff. But somehow... I dunno. I find him an enjoyable villain despite that one-dimensionality. Maybe it's that it's justified (the writing, not the character himself) by him being from a long-forgotten past, maybe it's that there are sadly real people like that out there... and maybe, sometimes, amidst all the more complicated and complex villains with actual morals; there has to be a threat that even your usual villains are opposed to. Something that all can rally against and find a common point of "Yeah, this is completely wrong".

Hardhead, Highbrow and and Chromedome are generally available at TRU. People probably are waiting for a sale which probably won't happen until next year

Rewind is also available.

Reminds me that 6 months ago, thrilling 30 Brainstorm,Roadbuster,Jetfire and Whirl also SHELFWARMED Same with Armada Megatron. They're all gone now, pulled off the shelves.

I have two theories:

1) Hasbro knows from past experience that most retailers under order, or don't order wave 3, or 4 of the line directly before a movie. That way shelves are clear for the movie product, which sells much more. By cutting the production of wave 1 or 2, they're trying to avoid a loss on wave 3 or 4, and try to make sure those waves get out.

2) This ties into the pics of Tripticon. The full figure reveal won't be for another year, and then it won't be released until several months later. By this point, Titans Return SHOULD be over, but we're seeing Soundwave's base mode attached to Tripticon. Why would Hasbro cross promote a toy that by all rights, shouldn't be on shelves still? Unless the third part of Titan Wars will be a continuation of Titans Return and all these figures will see a re-release in case refreshers.

One prob with theory 2 Chuck!

is that we're supposed to be getting Scorponok & Omega Supreme as part of Titans Return(or so i'm led to believe ) so having TR end before the release of these figs seems rather premature

I think Magnus and Trypticon are the only Titans Returns Titans (baring some last minute repaints) so something like Scorponok or Omega Supreme would be in Prime Wars Part 3.

But Trypticon is the 2017 Titan and Fort Max is the 2016 Titan. as Titans Returns is an 18 month line (more or less) he is release near the end of the line.

There is not reason for them to not show Trypticon with Soundwave - it's one of his play features - regardless of that they are from different years and different waves - there is going to be quite a big gap between the release of Apex Armour / God Bomber and Powermaster Prime too.

But yeah it is inconvenient that will be close to the Movie - However Hasbro have also said they plan to do less Movie stuff as Generations has a good push on it (in America at least).

This is one of the few times I can say that they have clearly under Manufactured products though. not to mention from a UK perspective they have not really shown up at all - so Hasbro UK seems to have completely failed to get UK retailers to take them besides a few smaller chains. They are close to being online exclusives.

The Supermarkets seem to ignore anything that isn't RID - likely as they think because RID has a TV show it's toys will sell better.

The biggest Joke is Argos - their inability to sell toys in a consistent manner is now becoming farcical. As for UK TRU - they have their own issues - I think the theory that they are putting to much note on how many toys in a given line in total they have an not what they have.

What I call the "Councillor Troi Problem" named after the problems troi caused by being made two close together and not selling so that she blocked retailer from restocking playmates Star Trek TNG figures or in some case of even getting Ds9 ones at all. They thought they had plenty and they were not selling where as actually they had sold out on the good stuff and had stacks of Troi causing a problem for them.

Some retailers realised this and dumped Troi in a bargain bin - but some didn't.

We seem to have the same problem with TRU in the UK they 'think' they have plenty of Transformers (and don't care what) but it's 2 years out of date stock from Age of Extinction they have and they barely even got Combiner Wars let alone Titans Returns. It seems the more regional the store the worse the situation - this is party down to apathetic management too though I suspect. and as with ARGOS a total lack of knowledge of the products they are selling.

Yeah thats exactly what it means, they wont be able to give you a blurr and wont send you a replacement toy for a while (and they might send you hero mashers instead, which they sent to me once when they had no more TFs to send).

I like the idea / speculation that is floating around that Overlord / Black Shadow / Thunderwing has some potential as a partial redesign into Star Saber with a new Spacecraft leg unit using replacing the tank and a mildy altered torso jet.

I can see it - also some people have speculated that if Hastak is really clever they might find a way to make God Bomber / Apex Armour redesignable in such a way to make it into Victory Leo too as when split up the function in a very similar way to each other.

The cool thing about that is - what if you can swap the legs over between Decepticons to make different combinations - and what if you can swap Victory Leo and God Bomber (Apex Armour) over between Starsaber & Powermaster Optimus Prime - how cool would that be ?

Though I'm still not quite sure if God Bomber is a Japanese exclusive or not.

dang it. i love when i have a problem with a tf because if they dont have the figure they send me a size class up. i had a problem with a legends they sent me a deluxe, i had a problem with a voyager they sent me a leader. that sounds greedy. thats not what i was trying to do. i wasnt even expecting another figure. oh well, guess ill have to buy another blurr.

Titans return is lasting just as long as combiner wars did so 6 waves. Titans return will still be going on for two waves after Trypticon is released.

You can buy a new blur and then return your faulty one to that store saying the one you got is faulty and get your money back. Then the store cam deal with Hasbro on their end and you have a non faulty blurr

Omega Supreme and Scorponok are not going to be part of Titans Return unless the line for whatever reason is made astronomically longer than every other toyline since G1. They're going to be in Generations, but under a different sub-line than Titans Return (or maybe no sub-line at all, who knows what the future holds after Prime Wars)
