Also, what's Blurr's titan master's name?

Hyperfire; after his G1 Targetmaster being named Hayfire. Likewise, Scourge's Headmaster is named after his Targetmaster - Fracas (no name change this time). Assumedly, if any other Targetmasters turned Headmasters come out their Headmasters'll be named after their Targetmasters.

Maybe it's just me but I really hope we might get some 84 bots as headmasters. Only one I'm lobbying for is Sunstreaker with Titan Master Hunter. That'd be so cool! I'd buy 6 just to army build the Machination headmasters from IDW.

The only ones that might work with would be as well as Sunstreaker, Jazz and Inferno, so they could then be done as Stepper and Artfire, also we need a Deluxe Inferno

Still they should just focus on the 87-89 TFs

I too would love that and have been hoping for it ever since the line was announced. As much as I want those 87-89 guys to get love, I want a headmaster Streaker :MAXIMAL:

People were asking when Fort Max would come out adn what the price would be, well I found this on toydojo's facebook (https://www.facebook.com/toydojo/posts/1088977837832371):

We have just received word from our distributor of a Fortress Maximus scheduled for release Q4 2016 with an MSRP of $149.99! This should be the Titans Return Headmaster figure! We have put up pre-orders on the site: http://www.toydojo.com/titans-return-ti ... -fortress-…/
NOTE: We've been kindly asked to remove the listing from our site. We were misinformed by our distributor as it should not have gone up yet. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you have concerns about any orders placed, please contact us at customerservice@toydojo.com.

a little off topic but is just me not paying attention or did IDW have zero attendance at Botcon this year? I realized that last night that no info for IDW transformers was done.

That box art for Galvatron is "deceptive". It shows the headmaster floating WITH the head-crest, which actually comes out of the chest on the figure. I guess that fits Galvatron's deceptive personality though. ;)

Transformers always had deceptive box art. Can G1 Seaspray do a pose like this?

The worst si Sky Garry though. Here is his awesome box art:

gotta say im sold on this line.

im not a huge fan of the headmasters (though i did like em at the time) but i didnt see the fact their mainly deluxes coming.

the complexity of the enginerring really is a testement to how far TFs have come on the design front and im very impressed at the level of detail thats gone into them.

i prob wont bother with alot of the smaller dudes, but ill prob get most of the deluxes and that galvatron.

hell right now im torn between whether to get the reissue fort max or this dude so fair play to them for IMO upping their game.

oh and i echo the thoughts of a poster further back. i'd LOVE a sunstreaker one to acknowledge hunter and the early IDW comics.

hell hasbro ya do that and ya got a gang of us out there thatll want to pick up red white and blue(? cant tell if its a kinda grey TBH :) ) variants to make our own machination army !

:D :D :D

That looks nothing like Gary! [-(

In all seriousness though, that artwork is pretty badly misleading.

I'm just realizing the hilarity Headmasters are bringing to the see-through boxes; those Voyagers are all being shown in the box with no heads lmao. The more cynical side of me wants to say this'll lead to bad sales because some stupid parents will think the figures are defective and don't have heads...

Also, there was talk about needing a Deluxe Inferno a few posts up; what about Energon Inferno? He's even got a Grapple (Roadblock) Retool.

OMG You are absolutely right! They should've at LEAST packaged the heads floating above the torso, but I think the way they packaged the deluxes is the best option with the heads still attached.

Nucleon's head mode has a small crest sculpted in. The artwork enhances it a little bit but it's not inaccurate.

Y'know, it kinda looks like the G1 toy's head. That thing was really stumpy... I find it incredible how despite the character designs being designed concurrently with the movie, Galvatron's toy stands out like a sore thumb as being probably the most innaccurate toy besides like Ratchet or something. (talking about the original G1 toyline of course)

I'd say Reflector's a close second.

Not really. Wheelie was probably the worst besides Ratchet's mold.

Image
Image

Constidering what they were working with, Galvatron was probably one of the most accurate figures as far as molded detail. Consider the later Japanese reissue:

Image
Transformers G1 1986 Galvatron (Reissue) Gallery

Image
Transformers G1 1986 Galvatron (Reissue) Gallery

Only the colors were off on the original Galvatron, and even though the colors on Wheelie weren't too bad, the molding is what was very off on g1 Wheelie. When repainted, Galvatron looked pretty darn accurate. ;)

At least that animation model was accurate to... one of them.

Is there any word on TT making versions of the TR line?
If I can get that Galvatron in really accurate colors, that is a guaranteed buy for me.
