I've completely accepted Titans Return because I think every single figure (except for Blurr) looks amazing. Yeah, there are problems (Blurr), but what Transformers line doesn't have problems or a few dud figures? Not a single Transformers toyline, cartoon, or movie isn't without flaws. I've learned to expect flaws so I'm not constantly complaining when flaws show up. I think you all should try that too. Just remember that not a single thing is perfect. Perfection is something that is 100% impossible to achieve. I'm completely okay with all these characters now being Headmasters. There are many examples of characters being shoved into gimmicks they weren't originally part of even in G1! I just imagine tyem as being like the Japanese fiction where the Titanmaster is the actual character and the body is just a lifeless mech suit. I spent pretty close to about a half-hour typing this. I hope that time I took to type what is basically a speech wasn't wasted.
If this is a response to me, maybe I should clarify what I meant to put across...
I don't mind the guys being turned into headmasters at all. In fact I think it fits well with the line and will just make the play pattern a lot more enjoyable - hell, the fact that this is the first time we're getting a lot of these characters at all (that isn't a third party, convention/club exclusive or random repaint) is really great and a ton of them look amazing; the only ones I don't particularly like the look of so far are Ravage, Buzzsaw and Blurr - and even then I only dislike Blurr because of the colour scheme; Takara's take brings him out beautifully and allows the mould to truly flourish.
I'm just a little sad that the targetmasters aren't targetmasters anymore, is all. Especially when the figures are this incredibly accurate to the original toys - seriously, it's kind of insane - I feel kinda sad that Triggerhappy doesn't get his little dude to turn into a gun. But it doesn't kill the figure or my enjoyment of it in any way; just a criticism I think is justified. Maybe it'd be easier to just say the fact he doesn't have a targetmaster brings the figure from a 10/10 figure to a 9/10 figure. I still love how it looks and I'm still likely going to enjoy it if I get it, it's just a shame Blowpipe or whatever his name was doesn't turn into a gun. That's all.
Believe me, I have so...
so many positive things to say about this line and from what I've seen it honestly seems to be one of the best there's ever been. I just went on a ton of rants about how much I love the look of PM OP lol. This annoyance I have with no targetmasters? That is literally my only problem with the line aside from the Ravage and Buzzsaw molds along with a couple of characters like Blurr not having great paintschemes. And maybe Hardhead not having a mouth but that's not really a criticism, just personal preference.
That's it. Aside from that I am adoring how this line is turning out and I have little else bad to say about it.
