Yes. And even when the helmet is on, the crest is no longer angled.

Btw, I hope Takara will also make a retool of Greatshot from this base design. Again, another opportunity to play with a JP specific character.

I am assuming that the backstory for Sixshot in the JP verse would have him be a good guy by now despite wearing the Destron sigil.

I think more of a more poseable G1 version. Similar to Sixshot.

Again, what is it with people referencing Naruto whenever a ninja headband shows up? That series is hardly the first to do it, you know (hardly the first with anything, really)?

Sky Shadow: Ominus (like "Ominous")

I spoke with the Gnaw and Bumblebee designer at SDCC. He's a fresh hire in the last 18 months or so.

I doubt they're thrilling 30 holdovers so much as they're probably side projects for new hires. It seems to me like young designers cut their teeth on Legends figures and Hasbro may be a bit more forgiving about some of the brand requirements, with more of an approach that says, "If it looks good, we'll use it."

I never said it was a rip off. All I stated was the crest in the original Six shot was more arched while now it reminded me of Naruto's, more horizontal. In fact, if not for WJ88, I would not have seen/known of the inner headband with the kanji characters on the headmaster part. I was focused on the head/helmet casing.

I don't know what the issue is with you with Naruto anyway. I don't think only one individual has the monopoly of being such an expert in various anime genres in this case ninjitsu lore. Ninja Scroll, Gatchaman, various Sega and Koei Tecmo and Konami games have squeezed the genre for all it's worth but aside from Naruto, those I mentioned don't have the obiquitous headband that the Naruto series have like in droves

What's the chip on your shoulder with Naruto anyway? He like hurt your feelings or what?

Only things I'm excited about from this was Breakaway, the tm's, and sixshot (kind of) broadside looks cool, his boat mode is epic, and his jet mode is just okay. Couldn't care less for everything else revealed - hasbro's saving me a lot of money
