I agree. It just looks like yet a another take on the typical G1 Megatron look, but as a triple changer jet-tank.Kurona wrote:william-james88 wrote:Albatross250 wrote::-?
I wonder if Optimus Prime will be Star Convoy in theversion?
i Bet Optimus will be retooled as Octane (that would be awesome)
I was hoping too for Super Megatron too in theversion too?
Blitzwing will be perfect here, the only problem here are his weapons
Just to let you know, Octane and Blitzwing are already confirmed so no need to bet, aside from wondering how much retooling will be involved. And I'm not sure if takara will even release this Megatron. So far they have only released one toy per mold in this line.
Aside from Blurr and Brainstorm, but that's for pretty obvious reasons - Blurr being the main use of this mold and him being the character it's made for, and Brainstorm completing the Headmaster squad.
I don't know why everyone's so set on this being redecoed into a Super Megatron. Is there anything particularly Super Megatron-y about it compared to other toys? If anything I'd argue with the shape of his legs, his massive Fusion Cannon and his wings, the Classics toy resembles him more. Super Megatron this TR Voyager is not.

It would seem weird if they didn't release the Prime, as big as Laser Prime has been for them. At least as Scourge from RiD to go with Ruination, if nothing else.

I'm only 16, I don't even know what figures you are talking about.

I was giving my reasons why I'm not getting them. Since I don't care about the Insecticons, Kickback is therefore unnecessary for me.Optimum Supreme wrote:Autobot N wrote:I don't really like the look of Gnaw, and Kickback is unnecessary.
You're certainly entitled to not have to buy Kickback, but he's anything but unnecessary when the other two insecticons have been released.

While I dont think the Leader Seekers are better at all, I think its becoming more and more accepted that the MP Seekers are overrated or at least not as good as they could be. They are a 10 year old mold which was never meant to be a cartoon accurate rendition of them. And it shows, with their feet and inverted cockpit tapering on their chest as proof of that. Until the tracks mold came out, they were easily the least good of the MP line.

In any case, Generations Leaders with Generations Leaders, and Masterpieces with Masterpieces. Styling just fits better especially since the Leaders contain a lot more artistic liberties while the MPs are to-the-letter cartoon-accurate models. Only time they should be mixed imo is if they're filling a space of a character one collection doesn't have; like MP Shockwave with the Leaders of Leader Megatron with the MPs (at least, until MP-36 comes out)
RodimusRex wrote:Currently, MP Hot Rod seems to work well as a space filler for Rodimus Prime and has the advantage of near perfect Voyager scaling. He has very similar height and proportions to Voyager Galvatron.
But I would argue MP Grimlock in Dino mode is probably a permanent solution for a S3 Autobot team. First of all because he is detail laden and has liberties taken. Second because he looks properly goofy and stands in a way that we now know T-Rexes didn't stand; new Grimlocks will almost always err on the side of either archaeological accuracy or coolness and will lack that "heavyset comedy sidekick" quality. Third because his scale relative to the other S3 figures in dinosaur mode is perfect and while his robot scale seems a bit too big, he was almost never in robot mode during S3.

As you can tell, I am in compete agreement.
