Maybe, but I hope not. If that's the case though I'll just buy the set and be the one to part out the set on eBay getting rid of the others.

If this is the case I'm surprised they didn't put Tidal Wave in the same set as Nautica and Quickswitch, you could've had a BATTLE AT SEA!! set that's like an 80's cartoon episode, where Tidal Wave is polluting the ocean or punching a whale or something, so Nautica and Quickswitch in upside-down-gun submarine mode sail out to stop him.

ok, so BBTS finally has Leader Six Shot...but HTS doesn't, in fact they still don't have most of TR wave 3. I'm willing to bet however AFTER their latest promo code expires, they get all, if not most of wave 3 stock. It happened with wave 2 coming after Thanksgiving to HTS...

Not that I am a crazy conspiracy theorist...but seeing this pattern over and over doesn't help

I'm really disappointed that this is how Nautica is going to be released. Had she been a standard release, they've have made a killing.
I was looking forward to the clones and Tidal Wave too, but I'm not down with buying a boxset of figures when I don't care for half of the set.

Well if its any consolation, as we have seen on the secondary market, the Combiner Wars sets (which are more of an essential to have all of them) are selling as individual pieces in droves, I can only imagine that the same thing will happen on even a larger scale with these sets, or you can purchase the whole set, and just sell off the others, whatever course will be most cost effective.

I, alternatively, give one sh!t about G1 accuracy. It's not make or break if the figure's not straight out of the cartoon, but he has to look somewhat like the character, if that makes sense.

But yeah, he gets high marks from me.

He is the part of the set many people wanted the most (along with the new hands and feet). Ebay sellers realise that and take advantage of it.

And considering the rest of the characters in her set - oh yeah, I'm sure people will be tripping over themselves for Fastlane, the greatest most memorable G1 character; and Quickswitch, with a grand total of one fictional appearance and whose being a recolour of Sixshot doesn't even represent that well - I just know the same thing will happen with Nautica

Or it could be they are prioritizing orders rather than keeping toys to sell for themselves.
