So... kinda getting mixed signals here.
If I were to sell of each part of the boxed sets, would there be people out there that want most of them? One would think that Magnus Prime and G2 Prime would sell, the clones as individuals would as well, and the advantage of getting Nautica, tidal wave, or quickswitch would be enough to sell them for at least something.
Sound about right?
Also, what's with all this Ramhorn hype?
And why would we think that Overlord's chest compartments activate stuff?
Edit: just saw him in the galleries.

Ok, time for me to play catchup. I'll limit myself to the surprises, and the official images, because frankly, that's all I can handle
:
- Titan Master Rodimus: Head is based on Rodimus Prime, not Hot Rod, but the body is Ptero's? I knew it looked familar...
- Metalhawk is Triggerhappy's head retool? Wow... curveball out of left field
And the gallery:
- so Ramhorn is a retool of Shuffler. Cool beans, even the vehicle has new parts. But who is the head styled after?
- So Tidal Wave uses the Japanese Shockwave color. Good choice.

Not to restart the whole retool thing again, but upon closer examination, I consider Windblade her own mold, with the caveat that she shares parts with both Highbrow and Scourge, namely the upper legs, the foot/heel pieces (depending on orientation) and the Titan Master chest. Everything else is all new.
There are Titan Master pegs in the back, I usually put him there, facing forward.

Re: Transformers Titans Return Product Reveals, News, Updates, Rumors, Leaks and more!
Guess I'll chime in.
I'm actually loving both exclusive sets. I'm hoping the Speed set is in TRU stores and not just online so I can get 10% off.
I agree that Nautica is a bit of a disappointment, but I don't have any particular attachments to the character, so it works just fine for me.
I'm loving Laser Prime and that it is saving me $25 + tax on buying the wave 3 voyager now. See Hasbro's screwed up distribution in the US is paying off!
Loving Magnus Prime and Metalhawk. The first 2 clones look great and the next 2 confirmed in the other 2 box set? Well played Hasbro, well played. Yep, I'm pretty much in it for all 4 now. (I'll figure out how to get it past the wife later.)
Quickswitch is okay, I'm pretty neutral on him. However it is nice to have another Autobot leader. They are getting far out numbered when you take CW and Thrilling 30 into account.
I'm loving Twintwist, Blitzwing, Octone and Overlord (even with the lips) as well, instant buys for me. I'm even okay with Windblade since the Thrilling 30 one really sucks to pose. She's just no good in heels.
Damn Hasbro, my wallet is already crying.

The silly way is on the TM pegs

I like to kind of give him and awkward position to make pew pew sounds.

Quick question for whom ever. I've been out of pocket and haven't made the time to catch up or even look at all the new reveals, but who is Windblade supposed to be a retool of? I'm getting a Triggerhappy vibe.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Not to restart the whole retool thing again, but upon closer examination, I consider Windblade her own mold, with the caveat that she shares parts with both Highbrow and Scourge, namely the upper legs, the foot/heel pieces (depending on orientation) and the Titan Master chest. I said she shares parts with Scourge/Highbrow, and she was rumored to be a retool of the latter. Triggerhappy was instead used for Metalhawk.

Posts have been flying by too fast for me to see if I got a response to this before or not, but Windblade looks like she is definitely meant to be turned into a Slugslinger. I'll wait on Triggerhappy since I have a feeling that it's possible that they'll release all three Decepticon targetmasters in a box set or something a la CW Scattorshot and Computron.

A Highbrow Retool can't make Slugslinger, i think it Slugslinger was meant for Triggerhappy retool
About that Targetmaster box set (Slugslinger,Misfire and Triggerhappy) there will be some re-issues i think

Misfire? i think we will wait soon.
it's kinda weird how windblade got some of those leg parts, they shared something with triggerhappy (the legs) and somehow the whole body is a Highbrow retool

I don't think Windblade shares anything with Triggerhappy. The leg transformation looks similar, but there don't seem to be any actual parts shared between the two figures. The difference between those two is like CW Breakdown and Brawl - same apparent mechanism to collapse the legs, but no parts shared between the figures at all.

But look at her.

That vehicle mode look a heck of a lot like Slugslinger.

It's not a retool of Highbrow. It uses some of the same parts, and the same collapsing torso section, but the transformation is very different in many ways. Such as how the legs fold up. And the fact that Windblade uses Highbrow's heels as toe sections.

I think the legs just end up in the same position as Triggerhappy in jet mode with the knees at the rear and the feet pointing tippy-toe towards the front. I was thinking Triggerhappy too from the vehicle mode, at first. But this seems a lot more like a new mold the stole a few parts from Highbrow, who in turn already stole some parts (or heavy retool) from Scourge.

And Highbrow's heels, are Scourge's toes as well. So we have 3 different transformations/heavy retools/parts thiefs/whatever you want to call it.
If they can somehow merge this into Blurr and Chromedome, you'd have the whole 6 degrees of separation thing going on.

So...Necro (Full-Tilt's Titan Master) is based on Wipe-Out, right?
And Wipe-Out is based on Tailgate, right?
THEREFORE, I hereby predict some kind of exclusive deluxe class Cyclonus with Tailgate as his Titan Master.

And Wipe-Out is based on Tailgate, right?
THEREFORE, I hereby predict some kind of exclusive deluxe class Cyclonus with Tailgate as his Titan Master.
If you want to add a step: Wipe-Out's previous toy is a redeco of Windcharger, who in turn has had toys retooled into/from Tailgate. There, now the connection is even stronger!

A Highbrow Retool can't make Slugslinger, i think it Slugslinger was meant for Triggerhappy retool
So it's not a Higbrow retool... Hmmm, problems with Slugslinger he has Double cockpits,
No biggie. Hasbro would have to make them incompatible with Titanmasters anyway or else he'd have two giant nosecones on the front. Pretty easy retool. Doesn't even technically need retooling on the rest of it to make that work if it weren't for the fact that Windblade is female. So yeah, no issue there. Just would have a larger backpack, and would need some detail retooling such as replacement arms with extra bulk.
My issue with the Slugslinger out of Triggerhappy idea is that they would have to make his vehicle and robot mode wings attach in the wrong spot, and then he would look too different from his original incarnation. Windblade however would be easy to use. In a way, Windblade could be the missing link. In fact, her parts end up in the same places in vehicle mode as the original Slugslinger toy! Small legs folded up in the back with not too much bulk, some barely noticeable arms folded up under the wings, and the wings end up on the back in robot mode.

Doubt that, Wingblade is a new mold (or perhaps by Parts-sharing),
If Slugslinger is retooled, Wingblade is definitely the answer
Still Playing Fall Of Cybertron, it's still a great sequel!
