Seriously though Getaway has absolutely every reason to leave Megatron, Rodimus, Brainstorm, Cyclonus and Whirl to die for all they have done.

Oh, I'm not saying Getaway wasn't justified, but the end doesn't justify the means in this case. He went about it all wrong. Also, add Swerve to the list of names up there and you have all my favorite characters from the book. So I felt a little betrayed. So I felt my figures that Getaway wronged needed to express that.

You know what, thats an excellent point. Why reissue cosmos rather than rereleasing the previous insecticons instead? Maybe because they already had that cosmos mold out last year and wanted to make the most use out of it before filing it back

It's very possible they're trying to complete the 1985 Minibots team. We got a Warpath and Powerglide recently, we're getting a Seaspray, rumours say we're getting Beachcomber... we even got Bumblebee.

Nah, he was part of the original six in 1984. (so was Bumblebee but he alone was re-issued as a sixth member in 1985)

i was hoping he would be a new mold so that he would be different from scournge

1984 = Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Huffer, Gears, Windcharger, Brawn (+ Bumper)
1985 = Cosmos, Beachcomber, Powerglide, Warpath, Seaspray (+ Bumblebee re-issue)
1986 = Swerve, Tailgate, Pipes, Hubcap, Outback, Wheelie

Then 1987 was the Throttlebots and they completely dropped the six-tiny-autobots thing from 1988 onwards.

Should I also say that every minibot in 1986 bar Wheelie was a retool of a 1984 minibot?

As a person who absolutely LOVES packaging errors and slip ups, I'm incredibly excited to see these Chromedomes. Now I just hope I can find the blasted things. Ive been all around town and have only found two, both with the US heads. If anyone has seen any and would be willing to help a fella out, PM me. I'd happily compensate ya.

I still stand by the idea that we will be seeing a reissued Skrapnel some time soon - he was the only other non-TR toy besides Cosmos present at New York Toy Fair, and it would make sense to give fans another chance to get one since it's been three years since the last time it came out and we're only just now getting the third Insecticon. Regardless, AARGH WHY DID I BUY BLASTER NOW I DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY TO GET SKRAPNEL I NEED HIM NOWWW.

Skrapnel was there too, I'm pretty sure. I think they had the three Insecticons set up together (so I guess Bombshell is another non-TR toy that was there) - I'll just see if I can find a picture to demonstrate. I remember thinking "huh, since Cosmos is getting a reissue and Skrapnel's there too, maybe that's in the works as well!"

EDIT: Here we are! All three Insecticons, over on the right - I'm sure there's a better picture in the gallery somewhere but this is the first one I found.

Bombshell doesn't mean anything. Bombshell is still a prime wars figure where as Shrapnel is not

In the end none of this means anything up until we actually have a listing.

I dont think that means anything or matters. I dont know why you or anyone bothers making up rules that dont exist. And fans should not expect anything unless there is any solid proof its coming out.

Original Mold, they released the oficial images, there appear to be 0 changes. Even Hasbro confirmed it was a stright up rerelease at the show.

Yeah, I read that, but it wasn't easy to tell if they only meant no new modifications for Titan Master compatibility (like foot pegs) or if they meant no use of existing modifications at all.
