It's not bragging if its true. Well Done.. I'm not sure about rainchecks at TRU in the United States. I've been able to take advantage of sales in terms of smaller figures, but I don't seem to recall to many with the larger ones. I'll also have to look into the price-matching, not sure if theyn will do that either, but it wouldn't hurt to try. Thank You wj88.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

Agreed. I'm not sure of all the intricate details. I tried to ask them how they could have items in stock on their website, but not at a particular store, and the guy just said "the stores and the website have nothing to do with each other..."...
I guess other than the fact that they are both named Toys R Us, and that you can have items shipped to store from the website...yup totally unrelated whatsoever...

Yup, had that happen with the combaticons. I wanted to get the limb bots at TRU cause that's where I saw them first, but they were $24 and they would not price match Walmart's deluxe price tag. To price match, they told me I had to find the exact same item in another store and then bring proof of it like an add. Which is absurd
Cobotron wrote:TRU in the States price matches, but it has to be an ad from a major retailer. i.e. Target, Walmart, etc.
they won't price match online only retailers. They also won't price match there own website, which is just absurd!
The original, complete competitor ad, with valid dates, must be presented at time of purchase. Advertisements presented via smartphone must be displayed on competitor's website or app. Online prices must be verifiable via competitor website.
A price match will be granted at the time of purchase or within 7 days of purchase date with a valid receipt
When two or more of the same item are purchased, price match will be limited to two of those items.
Prices are matched after deducting any Toys"R"Us and/or Babies"R"Us coupon savings and other offers from our price.
We do match:
Identical items in local retail competitors' print advertisements - same brand, same size, same style and function, although variances in color will be accepted.
Pricing of an exact item at a competitor location that is the result of a single item percentage (%) off discount or coupon, such as a competitor coupon for 20% off a single item.
Toysrus.com and Babiesrus.com online pricing.
These competitors and their websites:
Amazon
Baby Depot
Barnes & Noble
Best Buy
buybuy BABY
diapers.com
Fred Meyer
GameStop
Hobby Lobby
JCPenney
Kmart
Kohl's
LEGO
Macy's
Meijer
Michael's
Sears
Target
Walmart
YoYo.com

But by that point, you may as well just buy it at the other place.

RAR wrote:P.s did you guys (and other genders) know that Wei Jiang is doing Ko overscale Titan Returns toys soon ?
Specifically Skullsmasher, Hardhead, Highbrow, Wolfwire & Highbrow.
If the test shots they showed off are accurate there is some subtle changes - like Skullsmasher has his beast legs inside his robot legs in robot mode. and they may not all have transparent cabins.
But overall they look interesting.
I thought it worth a mention.
