I don't think we've had anything official yet, but my guess would be closer to the $30 side. It is Walgreens after all...
Anywhere between $25-$35 is a safe bet, given the regular Legends price, plus "the Clones being slightly above the cost of Legends", plus the markup.

Are we certain that the remaining clones still won't also show up in other box sets? I know it seems like a logical assumption they won't, but I wouldn't put anything past Hasbro.

I know this sounds odd...but I'm less concerned about the exact contents of the TR Box sets, and more concerned about the cancellation of the two remaining Box Sets themselves. (Btw, did we ever receive confirmation that there would be 4 sets? Or did we all just assume since there were 4 clones, there wold be 4 sets...???) I know SDCC is just 2 days away, but for generations they only mention POTP. I'm thinking TR is coming to an abrupt end with Deluxe Sluglsinger being for some odd reason the only item in wave 6.
I hope I am wrong, but I guess the good news is we only have 2 days to wait.

They mention POTP the most because it's the newest thing on the block that's gonna attract a lot more attention. Rest assured, the remainders of Wave 6 will be at SDCC. Have patience and all will be revealed

If it helps anyone estimate the MSRP, TFSource is selling the set for $39.99. Make of that what you will in figuring out what the markup is for buying through a middle man.

About all it tells us is that $39.99 is the price they are charging for importing it from overseas into the US. Remember when we got deluxe Groove and the shenanigans with pricing of him. I think TFSource and others were charging 29.99, when you could get him for 16.99 through Amazon.

If I remember correctly (and I think Will posted a summary a few pages back) that last year at SDCC, Hasbro indicated they planned on releasing the clones in the boxed sets called theme packs or something like that, and we all assumed that it would mean 4 boxed sets since there were 4 clones. So basically they indicated they would only be released in boxed sets, but never confirmed how many. We all assumed it would be 4, but what they did with the Walgreens exclusive is still technically a boxed set, so they didn't really go back on their word. Or, rather, their word was just vague enough that they didn't have to go against it later.
Also, dude, relax on wave 6. You've been preaching doom for the wave for months now. Staff (that sometimes have access to info they cannot directly share with us) have been telling you the rest of Wave 6 will be revealed at SDCC.
Deep breaths.

Yup. All they said was that all the clones would be released but not individually. And the rest was fan speculation. Though to be honest, 2 more sets made perfect sense since they had the 4 symbols on the side with the one the box was "themed" highlighted. Plus, we had a buch of CW box sets and since the TR sets were even more anticipated by fans, it only made sense that there would be more. Plus these sets were now a way to get the Japan toys so it also only made sense to get a god Bomber to go with Magnus Prime.
I am just showing how it was easy for us fans to get the idea of 4 boxsets, but your right Kev Fan, that it all speculation beyond what you wrote

??? Pretty sure my speculations/suggestions were not that emotionally charged. when there's a lack of news however, you have to talk about something right? I know SDCC is in 2 days, I'm just as patient, IMHO even more so than the average fan considering my geographic location despite being a top 20 market often gets things last.
on a slightly different TR topic...My local TRU got some more CoV sets in. This time however I noticed a slight difference. A Circular Embossed Holographic "TRU exclusive" sticker on the front of the box. Anyone else notice this that got the set recently?

Question. What do people think works best for Scourge's face and hands: Silver like the Titans Return version, or flat gray like the original toy's face (and I think the Legends version? Or is that a bluish light gray?)? And which is better for his abs: Silver, flat gray, or light blue?

This is a great point and I am using it as a jumping off point for something directed to all my friends here.
Why dont we talk about the toys we have and love instead of what we wish would happen or what we are pissed hasnt happened? Its like this thread has all the anticipation, the reviews but not what follows. Aside from BodRock's shots of Skyshadow, I dont see as much of people having fun with their toys. Or saying which they love, or trying different things with their heads and compatibility across the line. has anyone done some fun stuff with all this added playability?
Which toys do you like best in the line? Is there a triple changer voyager that is truly better than the rest?

Oh I do. I mostly live vicariously through my son since he has more time to actually play with them. I mostly just write about my experiences because I'm not much of an expert when it comes to posting pics and video. I still do plan on posting pics once "Transformer City" is complete (showing all TR Leaders connected to FM & Trypticon)...but that will be a few months down the line at least, and no doubt someone will probably do it before I do, and much more expertly. I posted my thoughts about how much I really enjoy Sixshot, and even more so Sky Shadow (despite many peoples feelings to the contrary).

I've got Megatron and Rewind -- mostly for my MTMTE collection, but they turned out to be superb examples of triple changers and I'm really impressed with the engineering and ingenuity that went into both of their designs.

I'm enjoying the ones I have. PMOP is fun despite his flaws - I have found that he can carry Blurr inside him in vehicle mode, and Hot Rod on top. Thus elevated (so that the 5mm ports on his sides actually have clearance - he's a good figure overall and I love him, but he kinda fails at integrating a Titans Return mechanic), Hot Rod acts as a good mounting point for Optimus' rifles, letting them mount in a position where they have clearance to shoot. I'll take a picture of the whole setup when I find where I put Hot Rod's guns (I hope I haven't lost them).
Anyway, PMOP is fun, Hot Rod is cool, as are Blurr and Kup though I do plan to repaint them. I'm also enjoying Scourge and the 2nd one I bought to be a Sweep and I want loads more of him so I can have a Sweep army. I recently started work on adding detail paint to them (hence my question earlier on this page). And I'm also enjoying Galvatron, who has replaced my repainted G1 Galvatron on display and put making arms for my G1 Cyclonus (who I bought because he's less dwarfed by G1 Galvatron than Universe Cyclonus is). Sixshot is fun too, I did an obvious joke involving him and ROTF Prime a while back:

I'm still sad that the Chaos set is now reappearing in some stores despite basically vanishing, and that the wave 4 titan masters are basically ghosts.
Sky Shadow is easily the best leader of the entire line, and maybe the best leader figure since Ultra Magnus back in CW.
The only voyager that has really done it for me is Alpha Trion. he is the one figure I have had the most fun with, and remains my favorite titans figure. Topspin is a close 2nd though.
As for the other triple or more changers, they have all been pretty flawed. Astrotrain's train mode is not really doing it for me, and he feels pretty boring, despite being my favorite G1 con. Prime's jet mode is sad and his arms frustrate me in robot mode, but I love the truck mode. Broadside is perfect in robot and carrier mode, but the jet mode is the worst mode of any figure from the line. Galvatron feels lighter and not has good in quality as the rest of the voyagers, and while his cannon mode is the best mode and the plane mode is alright, the face and the overall light feel lets him down. And Megatron just didn't do it for me either, with the jet mode being a bit too kibbly and stunted with wings, the tank mode is good, but the bot mode is sorta disappointing with the colors and stickers. Plus I just don't like the transformation, I fear he will snap.
Now mind you Trion's aircraft mode is no jewel either (though I still like it), but his bot mode is by far the best, and his lion mode is really good to me. He is also the one who works best with a titan master to me, going with Lione perfectly.
See, I just couldn't make myself get Alpha Trion. While I like the character, it just seemed out of place for me to get him, like it didn't feel he was an old fogie, but more of a warrior viking. I'm hoping we get a PotP Trion (but I kind of doubt he'll get another figure any time soon.) I love TL Galvatron, I think that his paint apps make him vastly superior to Hasbro's,and I think I prefer Sentinel Prime over Astrotrain :X
As far as leaders go though, I've got Black or Sky Shadow or whatever he's called right now on his way (which I'm really excited about), and TL Sixshot on preorder, which I love the sleeker helm and calmer colors.

Trion is cool, but I don't really like how boxy his chest is. Honestly, I would have preferred it if they removed the carrier mode and made him a deluxe so he could have more streamlined robot and lion modes.
Complaints aside, I'll list my favorite TR figure from each size class:
TM: Clobber. Crashbash was amazing enough, and now they've made him into Grimlock.
Legends: Rewind. Out of the two Legends class guys I have (him and Bumblebee), Rewind is the superior figure. Although, he may lose his spot if I can get ahold of Cosmos.
Deluxe: Tough choice here. I want to say Blurr, but I kinda dislike that the front of the car partsforms, so I'll go with Triggerhappy here.
Voyager: Megatron easily takes the cake here. The alt modes of Galvatron, Sentinel, and Astrotrain aren't all that great. I've already aired my grievance with Trion, and Broadside is kinda meh. But Megatron has an awesome bot mode with two great looking alt-modes. Only things I don't like are the stickers and the fact that the seat-gun is grey and not black.
Leader: Black Shadow. Pretty cool figure.

Blurr's front end coming off to form a shield is how his original toy worked. The Titans Return toy improves on that by making him able to wear the shield on his arm so he can actually hold it in front of himself for protection. Also, you don't have to take it off to transform him if you don't want to. So it's optional partsforming.
Galvatron's cannon mode is decent and can actually sit in an angled-up position like in the movie, which is nice. His jet mode is passable... and it's not like they could have kept his original third mode (it does not lend itself as well to being turned upside-down and called a submarine).

I'm really loving my Megatron. Even his chunky jet mode does it for me. And having discovered his fusion cannon can be shoulder mounted, that's become his go to look. Though I would like to customise it into someone else, but I don't know who. Not Flywheels. Maybe an original character. But what scheme would look good? And what head?
That's what I love about these figures. The head swapping is brilliant for making new characters. I have my Scourge head on Sentinel to complete his movie look, Alpha Trion is going on Scourge to be an Alpha Trion custom and I just need someone for egatron. But yes, Megs seems to be the one figure from this line I'm picking up and fiddling with the most. And I originally wasn't going to bother with him.
