The titan master figures seem to have fairly conspicuous 5mm pegs on them somewhere, almost as though they're intended to have some kind of weapon mode, It's interesting to note also, that some of them seem to be completely integrated into their altmodes in certain configurations, particularly Fangry, who's headmaster arms form the arms of his Dino mode:

Fangry/Wilder/Brisko/Crashbash
EDIT: Corrected by Sabrblade - Squeezeplay/Cancer/Lokos

You can see the weapon mode of Crashbash being held by Legends Skullgin here. The dinosaur legs are the gun barrels!

you missed out Caminus, Prion, Navitas, Tempo, Chela & Carcer!

oh & maybe also a titan sized Star Saber?

Woops, I could have sworn I included Star Saber. His gimmick always reminded me of Cerebros and Spike. So I'd love to have a huge version of him. I have the MP and enjoy it a lot :)

Without any comic shops around here (rural Ohio) I actually just hear who Caminus was yesterday. He seems cool.

I haven't heard of the others yet...

A titan Star Saber makes no sense to me. If anything, he should be leader class. They managed to have a whole secondary transforming bot inside Magnus to homage the comics, so why couldn't they pull off the whole Star Saber thing :MAXIMAL:

I agree, there is absolutely o reason that Star Saber should be a Titan Class figure. Leader Class is the most fitting choice for Star Saber.

It'd be like making the Prime vehicons if they had only appeared in 1 episode though. And G1 continuity means nothing. New stuff and remaking other toys is good too, and at this point would be very nice :MAXIMAL:

Everyone's different :)

G1 Continuity means everything to me. I'd much rather own every obscure Seeker that showed up once in the background of one G1 episode, than own one single Optimus Primal toy, or Michael Bay figure. To each their own (obviously). But to me they are garbage.

And to be clear, I've always thought liking certain Transformers was similar to liking certain flavors of ice cream. If you hate my favorite flavor, it has absolutely nothing to do with how my taste buds work. It still tastes good to me, no matter how much someone else hates it or tells me they think it's bad.

So that said, I'd still love a 24 inch tall Star Saber toy. Sounds like fun.

It always seems weird to me though when people say "that shouldn't be made". Going back to my ice cream analogy, it would be like someone saying "I hate strawberry ice cream, thus nobody should be allowed to make strawberry ice cream."

I'm cool with people making a zillion different flavors of ice cream, even if all I am ever going to buy is strawberry. That way everyone else gets what they want too. :)

I'm pretty cool with reimaginings too, as long as certain criteria are met. Like if you're going to give me a new Ironhide, I need him to still be a grumpy redneck, lol. Or if you give me a new Perceptor he has to be a long-winded scientist. If you give me an Ironhide who's a long-winded scientist, or a Perceptor who's a grumpy redneck, I'll pass.

I need to overall color scheme to be pretty similar too. If Ironhide goes from being a van to a truck, I don't mind, so long as it's a red truck. If it's a green truck or something, I'm out. Likeiwse, I need the head to be about the same. ironhide needs a mohawk, two eyes, and a mouth. If he suddenly gets the Shredder's helmet, a visor, and a mouthplate, I'm out.

So all that said, if they wanted to give me a Titan Class Warpath that turns into a big red Jawa Sand Crawler I'd buy it in a heartbeat, lol. As long as it's red, and Warpath still has turrets syndrome.

Oh, and going back to my ice cream analogy, if you love chocolate and I hate it, I don't expect my opinion to have any impact on you either. :)

So for everyone who likes Beast Wars and Bayformers, more power to you guys!

Following on that analogy though, the current state of play with generations gelato is that there's only so many slots on the cart for certain flavours at any given time. The cart owner and the majority of it's customers wouldn't want to trim out mainstay mint choc chip and fanservice tuttifruity for obscure orange and prune. Savvy?

People feel like they've been robbed at a shot at getting a highly demanded character if a slot is taken up by (for example) a big ole scoop of sentinel prime. It's a tightrope game for hasbro too, they want to put out the characters that are in demand because they'll make more money.

For example if they came out with a leader figure of Halonix maximus, who only appeared in a single episode for all of 5 minutes and was never named in the show, people will probably be pissed because not many people wanted him, he'll shelfwarm, and they could've had a leader scale starsaber instead.

Disclaimer: this is not necessarily my view. I just wanted to point out that the icecream analogy can only work so far before you have to point ou that, actually, yes it does affect other people's tastebuds.

Is this really a complaint people have though? I honestly can't think of a single comment I've read where someone was complaining about an obscure character getting a figure over a main steam one. I honestly think that to an extent the more obscure a character the better. It gives people variety and eliminates the age old complaint of "This version sucks the original is better".

I've heard it quite frequently and unironically. More often when people are talking about the masterpiece line, but it extends to combiner wars, 'why rook/alpha bravo/off road, not...'

See that's a bit different though. With rook and friends that was a new character replacing an established team member of a combiner, not a random character taking a wave spot for some other random character. If anything I've heard complaints about the two autobot teams taking up places from random decepticon or autobot teams. I think it works both ways, people are always going to find something to complain about no matter how small.

To me it would be cool to own a Halonix Maximus for the simple fact he's never gotten a toy. To me, that keeps things from being monotonous (like shelves full of Bumblebee action figures). I also think it would be cool because I like the big figures. I am much more excited about my Metroplex figure than any of my Deluxe Class figures, because to me, his shere size looks great. (Even though I always thought he had a boring personality). Along similar lines, I also bought Shogun Lion Voltron and Shogun Vehicle Voltron. Despite the fact my 80's Voltron is die cast metal, etc, and Shogun Voltron is vinyl, I still like the bigger version better.

So they could pretty much make Titan Class Wheelie and I'd buy it, as long as they made up something on the back of the box about him getting an "upgrade" to turn into the head of the Ark or whatever. Even though I don't care about Wheelie, I'd still want it for it's size.

Figures like Grandus and Metrotitan would be nice in particular, because their G1 figures are expensive. My wife bought me a Metrotitan for my 40th birthday, and that's great. But I'm surprised Hasbro hasn't recolored Generations Metroplex into a Metrotitan. Seems like it would sell. Especially when there are fans (like me) who are forking out the cash to own the less articulated 30 year old figure. :/

lots of figures never got toys!....for instance.....Transformers Animated Omega Supreme(a transforming one never came out), WFC Trypticon(+ probably tons of other characters that never made it to toy form from both WFC & FOC), Bayformer Kitchenbots(microwave, dyson vacuum cleaner, garbage disposal unit ect. even though the only one that did make it to toy form was the toaster!), Bayformer X Box transformer(YES there's a 3p Playstation & Megadrive one! but they're not from the movies), the Mountain Dew Vending Machine(YES there's a Mountain Dew truck one....Dispensor! but not a Vending Machine one like in the movie! although someone did a pretty nifty custom made one), Transformers Cybertron Signal Lancer(YES a 3p brought one out! but no Hasbro version), Transformers Animated Fortress Maximus, Metroplex, Grandus & Cybertronian Form Blackout.

See though, that's kinda my thing about this: I like the wide majority of transformers with only little bits that are not as desirable as others, and it is a shame that we cannot get more a variety. With thrilling 30, we got some of that, with G1, beast wars, armada and such sprinkled in, along with many IDW inspired designs. I would love to see some more toys based off of TV shows, such as an updated Armada Prime, some new animated guys, even some updated beast wars figures and minicons that actually powerlink. I get bored with certain characters and themes, and while the IDW theme is nice with the G1 guys, there are also a lot of others that have been put into the comics, such as pretty much the whole of the beast wars cast. Not to mention we have popular new characters that have yet to get toys.

And unfortunately, what we fail to realize here sometimes is just how small our opinions really are. We outcry when it isn't something we want, but then it works cause pretty much everyone else loves it. RiD toys have done very well, and a lot of people on websites like this said they would fail and that they would never jump on them.

Also, with the whole ice cream analogy: Having a favorite flavor is good, but having it all the time makes it somewhat bland. Need to spread out more and get a greater variety to keep it from getting bland. That's why I like different toys, new designs (I am a movie fan and that is what got me here) new characters. Sometimes, we need to focus less on tiny characters that got a bit of time back many years ago, and focus on some newer ones that got much more time or are getting much more time but have yet to actually be made as toys. :MAXIMAL:
