I think Kurona was referring to the MTMTE incarnations. In which case, a leader-sized Overlord would suffice. And I would buy it in an instant, lips or no lips. (But lips would be the preferred option.)

Nah nah; when I mentioned comparisons to PM OP/Ginrai that was my mistake. I incorrectly remembered them being the same height.

I can't wait for the possible Titans Return Overlord! I was there when they teased it at BotCon, and I've just been waiting for it to either leak or get officially announced for a long time now! Anybody else think Star Saber needs a figure in this line?

I was 3 when Energon came out. Apparently Energon is a lot better when you're 3 years old and terrible when you're 15.

Me: Okay, Hasbro. I'll just wait patiently by telling people who complain about lack of waist and wrist swivels and hollowness on Transformers to shut the f**k up and calm down because those exact problems have been on Transformers since G1!

Oh I'm extremely happy with what we have - the most recent figures I have (the combaticons minus vortex, alpha bravo, rook, CW windcharger and groove) are absolutely lovely. I just think there's some room for improvement; some wrist articulation would be very appreciated.

I don't get why people want waist swivels, though... like, to me it seems like the last point of articulation you'd really want, and I can't come up with any scenarios - nor can I physically come up with any poses with Classics Optimus - where a wrist swivel would be a benefit. Am I alone on this? I kinda don't understand it.

Wait swivels aid in making poses more dynamic. Its posing 101 when drawing.

Making the chest move 30 degrees off the center gives it a much more dynamic look.

Eeeeh... I dunno. Maybe it's just me but it just looks a little bit too much like they disjointed themselves. Waist articulation doesn't quite work when it's just a swivel like that imo.

Yeah, some can pull it off better than others wrist swivels is something that I'm not actively seeking, to be odd and different. If a toy has them, then fantastic, if not then meh.

I mean skystalker hasn't got wrist swivels, or waist swivels and he's fantastic.

Yep, some of us were even older than that when G1 came out. I've wondered how many of you could be my kids...

The mid eighties was a great time to be a kid. And to me, the Headmasters (and other _masters) were really the culmination of the TF brand. I thought it really took a step back with Pretenders and Action Masters. Of course, it could have been the shifting attentions of the female sort that got to me...

But, really, one of the reasons I really like this TR line was the memories I have of Rebirth and the cool toys of that time.

Now, get offa my lawn all you younguns!! (I probably only have about half a decade on you, Ironhidensh)

It pops up now and then but without that actual name. Those recent big Optimus Primes in RID are all closer to Supreme class than any other class. And just because a class doesnt exist right now doesnt mean it cant be used. Classics didnt have any leaders until Jetfire.

Yeah, because why would we want toys made today to be better than toys made 30 years ago, right? Screw those haters who want toys to not look like crap from any angle other than straight on and have decent articulation!

That said, Overlord can be either Titan or Leader. The main advantage to him being Titan, is that he doesn't necessarily have to adhere to the line's gimmick of the year, thus he may then come with both his engines, Giga and Mega.

I don't think anyone would want a Titan Class Overlord...
