Can anyone point me in the right direction of where I can see some fan modes for Fort Max's city mode? Having trouble finding some but I've heard people mention them in the YouTube video reviews.

Here's the official "city" mode per Hasbro:
In lieu of other pics from people, here's what I came up with simply by rotating the waist 180 degrees and flipping up the legs to help recreate his original G1 toy's city mode. I can't decide if I like the feet on top or pointing out to the sides. When the feet point out to the sides, you can man a Legends Class figure (or possibly a deluxe, haven't tried it yet) like a lookout tower.
And here are some other teaser pics from my upcoming galleries for Fortress Maximus:

That last pic is adorable. As for your fan mode question, I personally prefer the toes pointing up as that look reminds me more of the g1 base mode.

Finally got Fort Max. Yeah, he does feel like a less-good Metroplex.
I bought some Shapeways knees For Metro that I think I'll buy again for Max. With them I really think I can get his base mode looking like it should.
It'd be great I someone could design some kind of collapseable case for the interior of Max's lower legs. That way they can fold out into buildings instead of facades. I'm glad I got him, but it also feels like a really good customised figure rather than a figure in it's own right.
I'm surprisingly fond of Cerebro.

It's really good though after getting Blurr and seeing how he transforms I am a littl bummed the small shoulder fins are fake kibble.

I'm surprised this is shipping in August. I figured Hasbro would've wanted more time between this and the SDCC release. Then again, who knows when Walgreens will have these on shelves, if at all.

That's very true. Hasbro doesn't control their orders, Walgreens does. Just like any store if they are over stocked on something they won't make an order. That's probably why I've yet to find PM Optimus or Blaster. All my stores are still filled with Skywarps
