After 8 hours of somber faced Holiday shopping zombies wandering through my appliance department with litanies of "just lookin'" on their lips, I thought I'd gotten a break on the way home when I found and purchased TFA Freeway Jazz and Electrostatic Soundwave from my local Y'All-Mart. Jazz was fine, but when I got to Soundwave, Ratbat's head promptly snapped off.
An F-ed up end to an f-ed up day, I'd say. :-x

Continuing to capitalise on half price RotF deluxes I've picked up Skids and Chromia. Skids is about as impressive as Mudflap (not very), only chance Hasbro have got of selling me repaints of these moulds is if we see them done as Runabout and Runamuck, the umpteen billion different versions of these guys as the same characters in different colours that are more likely won't get a look in. Chromia I'm liking a lot more than expected, despite the weird design. Could have a lot to do with the stand for robot mode being a lot more stable than expected.

Hah, thanks.... there's no way I could resist cracking them open. That's what I bought them for (despite the price)!

He is pretty big. I'd say each of the components bots are a chunky deluxe size, and that's when they're squished to form components. In individual bot modes, most of them are actually taller than deluxes, almost voyager class.

Oh yeah, this is a good one (I think so, anyway).

A co-worker GAVE me a G1 Headmaster Brainstorm and a G1 Targetmaster Sureshot! Both figures are complete (no instructions, though) and they both look like they just came out of the boxes. The stickers are flat and the joints are all tight too!

Probably the last haul I'll be able to justify until into the new year, a bunch of reduced RotF bits, leader Jetfire, deluxe Arcee and deluxe twins/icecream truck.

Arcee's really weird, not digging her half as much as Chromia, twins are pretty cool for what they are, havn't opened up Jetfire yet.

WOO! Picked up Energon Demolisher, the dump truck, and Cybertron Defense Red alert, both for $20 shipped from eBay! Complete and in excellent shape, practically mint. Demo was $4, and get this- CDRA was SIX BUCKS.

I still have most of my first Demolisher, but I cannibalized him to use his knees for Armada Tidal Wave, and I sold his head. With the new Constructicons from ROTF, I wanted to get my other construction-related figs back together (I'm using Movie Grindcore in this capacity too). I always liked E-Demo, glad he's back.

CD Red alert, holy cow, this guy's awesome! So deadly, with that missiel he could both start and end an international incident. Nice articulation, but I wish he had more paint apps. I'll try my hand. god I hope I don't blow it.

Got in the mail last night MISB Energon Wingsaber and MISB Energon Optimus Prime. I paid $107 shipped from eBay. I didn't think that was bad as I have repeatedly seen that set go for that price used (or even more :shock:

) on eBay. That said, why in the world didn't I get this when it was out?!?!?! Prime's super mode is okay but when you link him up with Wingsaber........wow.....just....WOW!!!
