Motto: "When did I get this tattoo?"
Weapon: Thrust Gun
G1 Long Haul (Yeah, I posted earlier that I purchased him, but today he phsycally came to my house...excited)

He's in great condition. His arms are a little lose and he came with no accessories, just the figure. He's all-around great. He's shorter than Scavenger but he is certainly sturdier.

Gyrotron wrote:Recently purchased G1 Long Haul. Just the figure, no guns or accessories. Same seller I got G1 Scavenger from. He'll be arriving at my house on Monday. I picked him up on Amazon for 9 bucks. :P

DotM voyager Shockwave reduced at Tesco. Not bad, but I was really disappointed that the forearm weapon mounts are asymetrical. I know the cannon arm is on his right in the movie but I was hoping that the toy could be posed with it on the more traditional left arm. Not sure if this is the case with the US packaging but the European box has a reversed robot mode picture on the back, suggesting that a left arm mounting was a possability. It would have been really easy to engineer as well, symetrical forarms and a slightly different spot on the blade for the peg... Oh well.

You know, sometimes hunting is frustrating. You're trying to look for that one figure you know its out there, in my case Tomahawk since Terradive backstock is also out, but you just can't seem to find him. I looked high and low, only to find a consolation prize I never expected. Mind you, he was on my list of figures to get, even if he's considered one of the worst figures in the line:

RotF Mudflap

There I said it! I got Mudflap! And I'm happy I did! Don't look at me like that, I have a thing for the under-appreciated. And now my Tuner Skids isn't so lonely.

So now I got a Tuner Twin and a non-Tuner Twin... Yes, I do plan on eventually getting their counterparts. ;)

Been on a bit of a Cyberverse kick lately, picking up Legion Roadbuster, Commanders Guzzle and Blackout, and also grabbing the Shockwave set (with all it's imperfections). I've also have gotten into visiting my local discount chains, Marhsalls and Ross. They feel like a treasure hunt, never knowing what to find! On a recent trip for example, I found the RTS Voyager Lugnut. Originally planned to pick him up in regular retail back when he was announced, but never saw him at the Targets, Wal-Marts, or TRUs. Dude is a steal at $10!

I managed to score a MISB Botcon 05 Flamewar for a really nice price. She completes that set of figures for me. Or she would, if she would have had her tech specs and instructions included. Anybody have them to spare? I'm pretty pleased to be closing the door on that set (I skipped Ratchet, Henkei is enough). Oddly enough, despite many folks not liking the set for that year, I do.

Yessir it is. I suppose I wasn't entirely truthful about liking the set. I do but it wasn't until we started getting hints of them being used for the Wings of Honor fiction. Once the set all started coming together my appreciation of them grew. I originally thought they were pretty crappy back when they were shown in 05.

Big shout out to Electron for hooking me up with Head Robots Gyro kit for TRU Whirl. Now if I can only track down (and afford...) a Nato kit for Roadbuster to fully 3rd Party my old school Wreckers line up (City Commander, Defender, TRU Whirl, Target Roadbuster) I'll be as sorted as I'm getting for the moment.

He's pretty nice, but really rather slight, as in lanky and light, for a Transformer. Just my opinion. Need to spend more time futzing around with him.

I don't know why, but this Cyberverse kick I'm on is not diminishing. Found myself picking up the Wal-Mart exclusive Battle in the Moonlight set whihc includes a repaint of the Optimus Prime w/Trailer, Ratchet repaint, and a Crankcase repaint. Along with that I picked up the Cyberverse Sideswipe to round it out.

Picked up DotM Skyhammer and 'Swipe from Tesco today with the £5 off each. 'Swipe's not a bad mould. Bit small and desperately needs the paint of the RotF release, but nicely engineered with a good transformation. I still think the Sidearm mould is the best of the three though. Skyhammer may just be one of the best heliformers of all time. I transformed him for the first time and my flatmate said that if she didn't know it was a TF she'd have no idea that there was a robot mode folded away in there.
