At very, very long last, TF Prime Beast Hunters Weaponizers class TALKING BUMBLEBEE and BEAST TRACKER OPTIMUS found their way to Québec!

I finally bought that BB I wanted for so long but I refused to pay the "Ebay tax" plus shipping. Because the boxes were in English only, TrU, as usual, refused to sell them to us lowly Québécois. NOT ANYMORE! The fawking French is on the fawking boxes at last!

And it's not at TrU that I found these. It was at a novelty toy shop, LE TAMBOURIN at the Carfour Laval, right next to Sears. Yeah, 40$+taxes is expensive, but man, that perfect deco on an already great mold plus the gun gimmick replaced by some better detailings and a voicebox! How could I resist?

They still have 3 more Bees and only ONE Green Optimus. Hurry up while supply last!

Got my club exclusive Transmutate today. (and the Diamond edition of "The Stunti-Con Job")

Also got my order from Target with the two Rescue Bots Flip changers (they were marked down, I figured why not), construct-bots target exclusive silver knight Optimus Prime and Grimlock two-pack, and the Silver Knight Optimus Prime and Grimlock normal figures two-pack. Unfortunately, the Prime in that last one is defective, the pin that attaches one of his feet is missing, so I have to send it back for a nother one that will (hopefully) be assembled properly. EDIT: And now the gun for the Construct-Bots Prime is broken too. Gah.

AOE Voyager Grimlock and Deluxe Slug.

I finally got the Armada Starscream and Minicon assault team too.

By the way, Armada Starscream is the PERFECT hommage to the original voyager. It's fun to play with, have all the features of the original and is marvelous looking! The only thing missing is a tiny weeny racecar minicon. I LOVE it!

The Minicon Team is cool, but far from perfect. Honestly, only 3 issues keep it from greatness. First, that annoying helicopter cockpit that keep popping off. Damn annoying. Maybe it's only on mine, but on the tank mode of Heavytread, one of the "thread panel" cannot peg into place, leaving it loose and floppy on the side of the tank. Sigh.
Finally, the "thrusters" weapon on the jet is just completely black instead of colorful like the photo on the box.
BTW, I transform his chest differently in order to nat have a big gap in it.

Since the AOE line has released I have been able to get either from Amazon or TRU Online....

I think I am about done unless they do a good Voyager scale Lockdown. I also want Deluxe Snarl. Beyond that I dont expect to be needing anymore of the AOE toys.

You will let me know how you transform it at our next meetup. As for your other comments, yes the cockpit flying off everytime is very annoying and it is not just your Heavytread with that issue although I only realized it once you wrote it.

I was used to his chest being just a panel with fake car parts but in the FE mold, his chest actually forms like that with the actual car parts !!!!!!!

Its in these times that I remember how scared the toys in Toy Story were of being replaced. Hence why I chose to post the following pictures for their arrival (with a Vehicon thrown in for good measure)

GRIMLOCK and STRAFE Evolutions 2-packs (why couldn't they ship Slug too? Who knows...)

And FSS ANIMATED JACKPOT, who basically completes my Animated collection, since the Botcon 2011 stuff is more or less unobtainable, Shadow Blade Megatron and Roadbuster Ultra Magnus are superfluous and expensive, and if I start getting Takara's Animated stuff I run the risk of re-buying toys for no reason other than because I like the show.

I got back from the Montreal Toy Con and picked up some stuff. There is a guy there called Protoman who organizes the Toronto Transformers collection. He has a bunch of stuff from all generations but what I like are his low prices on incomplete transformers. Its an inexpensive way for me to get some molds I was looking to add to my collection and want to transform, before I see if I want to spend the big bucks on a mint or complete one.

As it turns out, I found the Evac mold (from my purchase of autobot Blades) to be a true winner and at the same time I was very dissapointed with the animated blitzwing mold. He is much more action figure than transformer. I also got some fun original Armada and Cybertron minicons (complete sets with accessories) and a nice new powercore transformer: Leadfoot. He was also giving away G1 Ironhide upgrades with purchases of a certain value so I picked one up for -Kanrabat-. Hopefully it will make his G1 Ironhide a bit more bearable.

Thank to a fellow member, I have beaten the system and got Masterpiece Grimlock for just a little more than the same amount it would have cost me IF he was ever released here in Quebec... which would be never.

But enough of how Quebec language laws suck, lets rejoice with a Masterpiece finally arriving to my house. Thanks a bunch Seibertron for hooking me up with such cool people !!!

AoE "Generations" deluxe Slash. Also got deluxe Strafe, but that was a mistake on my part, forgetting about the Evolutions Strafe when I place the order, and since they're identical as far as I can tell except one has a free mini-con, the one without the free mini-con will probably wind up on ebay. (The same will probably be true of Slug once my Slug Evolutions pack gets here so I can see if there's any differences.)

Thanks. Why is it Grimlock got recolored for Evolutions, but Slug and Strafe didn't? Ah well, whatever, I'll take the versions with the free mini-cons, just glad I was patient enough to keep my Slug sealed!

Went to Target and tehy have a sale on Cyberverse and Predacon Rizing figures! So I brought back this lot, including DELUXE SKYLINX!









Lol, my first toy-swap ever found live in store! I was way too curious about what the hell this thing was so I bought it. Let's see if this... Beast Wars? is worth the 7.50$+tx I paid for.





Oh boy... Bad repaint by hand to somewhat look like Skylinx. Rubburry texture all over...
Let's try transforming the thing.

I thought something was off right off the bat from that first photo. I was recently toy swapped too, and like you, it was painted poorly as well. This strikes me as the same guy since we are in the same geographic region. Its too big a coincidence. What a piece of garbage that guy is, thinking he can get away with this crap. I am glad its collectors like you and I who picked them up, out of curiosity, and not some poor parent of kid. We knew there was something fishy and now no one else has to suffer from this lame brain's ill practices.

Generations Legends Skrapnel. Love the head sculpt. Figure is very fun. Time to start mixing and matching some weapons for this guy. : )
