I got movie deluxe Scorponok today. It's not quite as lame as I thought....I didn't realize that the claws rotated along with the "engine" midsection. He'll be staying mostly in beast mode, though.

Well, my weekend haul wasn't as big as SOME PEOPLE'S (Black Arachnis
), but it was effin' amazing nonetheless, by pure stroke of luck. I was out getting a haircut and checked out this hobby store which just happened to be having a 40% off spring sale. They had TRU Reissue Prowl, for $43.99... 40% off... $26.40 CANADIAN for MISB Reissue Prowl!!. Also grabbed a loose E-Storm Jet just because he was cheap and I never did when he was out. He's not bad, but I definitely see the problems with Superion mode, and already spent some time trying to fix the legs.
That's not all... My girlfriend and I went shopping at Metrotown (the big mall around here), where I was looking for a Classics Jetfire, which I didn't find... but it doesn't matter, because as we were checking out the TF displays, about to leave the TRU, this employee walked up and started to talk about Transformers...when all of a sudden he pulls from behind his back Reissue Soundwave!
He said they'd had one left in the computer but had been searching for a long time, only to find it just lying on the floor. I guess he must've been able to tell I was a huge TF fan, and decided to show it to me. The box was a little squished, but the figure was fine, and I debated a little if I should wait for Encore, but my girlfriend said if this was the one I had been calling all over to find (I had), it costs less than the Japanese version, and possibly comes with more, I should get it. So she bought it for me. So that was my weekend haul. Not the biggest one, but a good one.

I almost thought I'd have to do that myself.
Well, get the Encore version anyway, but I got really lucky. It is really too bad it can't be sold in Quebec. If they were in abundance, I'd definitely pick one up for you!Hah, when the hockey's over, there's nothing left. Well... I don't actually watch too much hockey, so I don't know how I can explain it.
Anyway, I don't think Sunstar got offended (hopefully), if she even read it yet. She seems to be pretty cool that way.
