It's that simple."

In case you don't know the law, in Québec, if a scanned price don't match the one that is on the pegs, the article is free if it's value is less than 10$. Otherwise, it's the lowest price minus 10$. So, normally, it would be 17$+tx. Promised price was 14+tx. So, that's 14 - 10 = 4$+tx. Limit of one reduced price per UPC code. Because each TF have a single digit of code that differ, both were reduced!
Sure, our language laws can be annowing. However, that price law is BOSS and it was at my advantage many, many times.

I was going to pass on Tankor because he look completely derpy, but I had a hunch when I saw a single peg of Gen figures priced at 14$ while the rest were at 17$. So once again, I took advantage of Quebec's pricing laws by scoring both figures at 4$ each!

Question for Kanrabat about that Quebec price law.
There were these at toysrus all wrongfully priced with generations pegs. There were no power battlers pegs anywhere to be seen. In this case, the price announced is higher than the one that would be at the cash, so how does the law work in this case if at all?

Also, did Walmart give you trouble?

As for the Law, it obviously don't count for misplaced products. The label MUST specifically say it for product X. By law, all price labels are thus identified. So, it can only work if the label ITSELF is wrong, no matter what the product under it is.
So far, the only store that have been bitchy about it is TrU. Still, when you are right, they have to give in or face some heavy consequences. That Law was put in place when it was no longer obligatory to put sticker prices on everything.

Canada is cool.
They like their people better than they like their money.

I had bought an animated Ultra Magnus and Grimlock (as well as Airachnid as a bonus to complete my Prime collection) off a guy online, but after I paid he lost the Grimlock. I didnt know what to do, he asked if there was something else I could exchange it for instead of a refund but I didnt want anything else. A week goes by and he finds the Grimlock in a box. It takes another week and a bit to get an update on it being shipped. All this time I thought it would not work out but I kept being patient. Finally he sends them telling me he added a bonus to thank me for my patience. And low and behold the gorgeous haul that I got in the end:

Those Botcon Autotroopers are a thing of beauty. And with 3 of them I can now do this:

And for those wondering, the interaction with Lockdown's weapon is perfected with this mold (too bad it doesnt have much meaning though)

Agreed, and when I wrote to him thanking him and expressing how this was a crazy surprise, all he wrote was the following: Hey man no worries! I hope you enjoy them!
While I am certain something like this will probably never happen again, for it to have happened once in my life is enough to humble me.

While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part
I'm not a huge fan of Japanese original Transformers media or designs.
It's easier for me to say which are my LEAST favorite toy lines: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise.
TFCon List: Classics Skywarp, General Optimus, BW Airrazor, Transmetal Tarantulus, Alternity Prime, Fire Convoy

For something so limited, it's not that expensive. I'm still thinking about buying one to have at least a G1 Megs mold.
I need to sell more stuff.

And Kanrabat, you were right. I just got this toy in today and it is a perfect example of a good wholesome transformer. I would have liked articulated wrists but the fact that the fists and the feet hide in plain sight (as the best transformers do) makes up for it. I dont know what to do with the stickers though.

What to do with the stickers? How about sticking them to him, as the instructions say? BTW, The main
symbol I applied to his chest is the
one.Sure, the stickers are tiny and there is so many, but be patient and get to work. In the end, it will be worthwile.

It's really a pretty handsome piece. The brown on the handle has a nice subtle sparkle plastic and all the usual grey bits are black and the chrome is really deep and dark. A real classy lookin piece. Plus it's waaaay tighter than my G1. Get one if you can.

Kanrabat you really know how to put a thing. Stick 'em!
I only applied the emblem, red dots and 6's, and I was pleased with that. Just enough detail to make him pop.
If you want my opinion on the rest of his and Whirl's stickers go here:
