You got Drift and EM Optimus right? I was going to ignore the autobots and just stick to Dinobots but those two (and apparently Galvatron) are worthwhile additions to our collections.
And Kanrabat, I went to that walmart to pick up Snarl but "someone" seemed to have taken the last one Also, that big flip and change grimlock and optimus 2 stand wasnt there, has it totally sold out?
william-james88 wrote:So that would also be the case for Predaking, who is also six members.
-Kanrabat- wrote:So, Will, does you'll finally listen to reason and get a G1 Optimus Prime?
The guy have been remade and reissued a zillion times so it's impossible to not find a complete one with trailer for a relatively reasonable price.

Yes it does Kanrabat, I am totally open to it. However, it being a reasonable price is the big issue here. I got the whole lot above (minus Snarl) for 35$ cdn, which I thought was reasonable, and I like how I stumbled upon them and was not actively looking for them. If a similar opportunity presents itself for Optimus I will definately consider it. Although I dont really need the trailer.

Its great that you rounded up those G1 fellas. That Astrotrain looks pretty good.
You gotta appreciate those old guys, no matter how goofy they are.
... and Kranberrybat is right. One day you gotta get a G1 Prime.

Thanks! The astrotrain is really good, the engineering is pretty solid (the arms are his main flaw) and he's in pretty great shape. I love changing him from a train to a shuttle. I really hope Hasbro releases a new version with modernized engineering but using the same train mode. As of right now, the G1 release is the most accurate toy we have for the comics (I am basing myself on All Hail Megatron) and the original cartoon. The main thing that surprises me most about G1 is the size. With everyone talking about how TFs are getting smaller, they are nowhere near the size of these G1 toys.

Pre-movie G1 toys were all over the place as far as scale is concerned. Because pre-movie G1 toys were from differents companies who did their own thing their way.
