I've got the reissue as well and they're a bit different. The 1991 version has white instead of silver and plain yellow instead of the gold on the reissue. Oddly, Hot Rod does have blingy gold on the original.
I planned on selling the reissue, but looking at the differences, I'm not so sure.

If your original G1 is sealed, keep it that way.
Don't sell your reissue. If it's not open already, open it, apply the stickers, and go PEW PEW PEW!

No, I'm not a huge fan of G1. But like you, I go for the characters I care about and I go for thoses who are CHEAP.

Is it possible to check the difference between the front part of "Roller's cab" from the re-ssue and original? Also, be careful of rubber rot.

He sort of got one in the Tomy version. That one came with the wings.

Rha, okay, this might be asking too much, can we have images of Roller? I've been looking for one to compare the difference between the re-issue. And......congrats on the find (good that the rubber treads are still good.)
