Finally today my Bruticus is complete, as Onslaught was waiting for me by the door when I got home.

Still totally on the fence about Sky Lynx. I've ordered his Reign limbs, but not him. Waiting for recommendations.

Picked up CW Brawl, fixed hip Motormaster, and Ironihide the other day. Even with the new MM, Menisaur still looks like ****. The Prime/MM mold is simply worthless as a torso. So I'm selling my Stunticons.

Anyway, I gave somebody else a huge toy haul yesterday. I put a lot of old G1 figures on eBay. It sold vianbuy it now I'm less than 15 minutes. I did my research, and thought I set the buy price on the high side of what other G1 lots are going for. The quickness of sale is starting to make me think I should have set the price higher. On well, I still got more than expected, and it will nicely find some desired 3rd party purchases. As long as a dealer didn't buy it, I also hopefully made a fellow collector very happy.

Today, I got myself something quite rare. G1.5 European exclusive Thunderclash! It miss a couple of missiles, the gun, and the base panel joints are GPS victims. Also, the main bot is in need of a fresh layer of stickers. Despites the imperfections, I think 64$CAN shipped was a pretty fair price for this awesome, awesome figure.

He have an honorary place among my old Optimusses.

Let's hope it will be a while before this GPS timebomb assplode completely. 8-}

Great catch on the Thunderclash (rhyme time!)

I always wanted that figure. GPS is kinda a drag with him, sadly.

You could... get a Machine Wars Optimus Prime and butcher all the parts that should be gold on Thunderclash and spray Optimus Primes black versions in a gold paint, if being 100% authentic isn't a priority.

A couple of days ago, my Sky Reign limbs arrived. I now have a serious patchwork of G1 characters from Classics, Generations, and Combiner Wars. I'm still contemplating getting Sky Lynx. I never liked the character, but that combined mode just looks...beastly. :-D

It would still be slightly authentic, as they aren't KO parts!! I need to do that with some figures of my own probably.

And very nice pickup! That's cheap for that guy.

well it seems a bit remis to get the Sky Reign limbs & not get the figure that they're supposed to be attached to!

but let's hope that you do decide to get Sky Lynx, despite of all of it's issues & problems

I got the limbs simply because they represent G1 characters, not because they're marketed as the limbs for Sky Lynx.

Basically the fact that he doesnt seperate and just goes from shuttle with underkibble, to dinobird to torso.

And also the fact that his wings are hallowed out and look like a cheese grater.

Few figures are definite must haves. If you are a skylynx fan who preffers the g1 version and the fact that he can split and doesnt care for him combining than he isn't must have at all.

For me Sky Lynx is a must have. I think he's a rad looking bird. And I love cheese!

There are some alternative transformations out there that do a decent job of emulating the various modes of the G1 toy.

The only thing that really bother me is that the main bot don't have his stylish

on his chest. Also, no reprolabels... Oh well, it's true he WAS cheap.

Grabbed a CW Chop Shop, he was the last one of his kind on the shelf as opposed to last week when there was about three of him. So it seems TF's are slowly selling in this town, or they could just have been back to school bribes.
