Yeah, theres lots of deals for those since stores want to clear out their inventory for titans return. Also, there are new price points and thus you dont want to be stuck with limiting the pegs you can use because an older line at a different price point is occupying another peg.

I think TT doesn't want their stuff messed with, because I had to use a knife to get Superion's head split apart, which was a bit nerve-racking and tedious.
But I'm really happy with the resulting look, and will be leaving the blue visor face as my standard.

Here's the red visor just because.

TRU. Funny enough, TRU.ca had Pipes/Choppy/Buzzy, but Buzz was not in stock. I jumped on the other two because I thought they'd never show up in store. Then on my way home Friday I found the whole wave in store. I bought Buzz, and a package from TRU was at my doorstep with the other two.william-james88 wrote:Shajaki, did you find that wave of Legends class figures at walmart or tru?

To be fair, I was referring to the original tooling at the time. Exclusive new tooling for feet, chest and arms could sway me along with switchable faces. But yes, this was not a mold I really wanted and now that I have it, I like it more for its sculpting and paintjob than the mold itself.

I did and its solid. Doesnt feel like a reject in any way, more like a warehouse find. I still dislike this mold though. I ean the sculpting and paint is gorgeous. Every part of this toy has detail but he really feels like an action figure that is forced to turn into a truck (which is basically the case of the movie model too). There is tons of kibble, but the part that ticks me off the most is how his arms are too much in the front. It creates an odd range of motion. He's also not as beefy as I would have imagined. I like the face gimmick though and the new sculpting is great. But its not saving the mold as much as TAV Voyager Grimlock saves that FOC Grimlock mold. But for 50$ shipped, I wont complain too much

For 50$ shipped, it's hard to resist a taste. I paid mine around 90$US shipped when it came out. On my end, it's Victirion. I didnt really had the money and I had enough combiners, but I STILL had to buy her because of the sale. It's combiners overdose, but for some weird reasons, I'm still glad I got her in my collection. It must be the same for your Optimus, right?

First, a TF Q My Melody. A hellokittyish figure. She's cute as a button and turn into a pink Optimus truck. For my fembot collection!
Next is TAV-44. The Armored Bumblebee and Sideswipe 2 pack. Bee and Swidy are cool and the armors are a nice toutch. But the REAL reason is for the two balls minicons. The Takara version come with 5mm pegs that allow to be carried in standard hands!

Why paying that much for a pair of minicons? You'll see in the future. This mad scientist have a crazy idea that HAVE to be realised. Stay tuned!

EDIT: after some checking it looks like the guns are copied from the one that comes with various Generations Legends figures like the Optimus Prime/Huffer/Pipes mold but with a small post on the top removed and a tab bit on the rear removed too. I like to know these things.
Likes: Bayverse, Marvel UK G1, Geoff Senior art, '86 movie (more for style/soundtrack rather than Star Wars plot)
Dislikes: Bumblebee movie (lousy rehashed dumb crud), TFA, G1 cartoon, IDW G1, BW/BM, MP. The entire concept of Autobot Megatron

Also got TAV12 Dreadwing and it is by far the most miserable toy from this haul, and it blows because he cost a tad bit more than everything else combined (9$). The transformation isnt great, the jetmode is a joke with all that robot kibble and the soft plastic for his wings will break if I touch it again. Plus he comes with less accessories than his Hasbro counterpart (and doesnt look THAT much better).

Nice lightpiping though.
