Statement supported.
While the often speculated 4th season had a lot of fan nods( learned via DJW presentation) but was never produced, the dvd release for S3 was long awaited and asked for until they released the individual set years later.
This then eventually leading to the combined 3 seasons set completing the released arc.

My lovely fiancee/commonlaw wife brought home Broadside and Getaway for me while she was out shopping. I wasnt planning on getting Getaway but I actually like him. Especially the headsculpt. I havent transformed Broadside yet but I like his botmode mostly. Some gripes on the leg fins but great looking robot.

I knew about the mythical S4. But I wasnt aware at all about the DVD cunundrum. I've been torrenting/streaming my series for YEARS so it's not something I pay attention to.
