And Binaltech Asterisk Blaster. so I have all three now.
I would still say the Ford is tougher to transform. Most Alts are relatively easy to get into robot mode; it's getting back into car mode which can be the tough part. However, Grimlock took me awhile to get just into robot form and I kept thinking to myself, "I'm not looking forward getting this guy back into vehicle mode."
Plus, I'll give the Subaru a break since it was the first Alt released. You can see, as the line progressed, how they tried to make the transformations easier. Notice those little appendages that have the small magnets on the end next to the front wheels that connect to the front wheel axle? Those disappeared as the line went on, which was helpful since those often got stuck on the frame of the car and took an effort to jiggle around just to get in place.
But yes, the Subaru is still not a walk in the park to get all its parts aligned correctly.
Sticking to the topic at hand, I received my Commemorative Hoist yesterday. Cool little guy and I was surprised at just how ingenious the design actually was; not quite as advanced today, but still mighty impressive. I was always kind of indifferent to Hoist, but one of my current projects is going back and getting some of the more overlooked characters' G1 toys.
