Re: Transformers Toy haul thread
been a (sorta) busy two weeks for me.
got these babies:
TM-01 Optimus Primal - the best rendition of OP yet, show accurate, and more or less scaled to the rest of the Beast Wars figures.
Beast Wars 10th Anniversary Cheetor - MISB, dirt cheap (less than $10.00). awesome fig. Transmutate part. need i say more?
and finally, Alternators Wheeljack - awesome. finally completed the Mustang molds. though i still very much prefer Grimlock because of the metallic finish.
Mustangs rock, baby!

Finally got to open the Nightwatch Optimus Prime I got a few days ago (he was an anniversary gift, so I had to wait). I love this mold, I'd forgotten how cool it is. I'm officially calling him "Magnus", as he will be the focus of an extensive project I'm staring to give him transforming car carrier armor (see my mod thread about this) and make him "Ultra Magnus".
Also picked up the SW TF Turbo Tank, cool mold too, but I can't tell which is the front end- the driver sits in what is made out ot be the back, facing backwards, wth. And I've got an RID X-Brawn on the way from eBay. Fun week!

Re: Transformers Toy haul thread
i really dislike TFTM toys as of late, but what the heck, they're still Transformers.
so to kick off the Premium series (and to mark the beginning of the end of my TFTM collecting), i got meself a Premium Metallic Ratchet:
and surprise, surprise. my uncle from California comes home to the motherland with these babies in tow:
whee, now i got extras. more Ironhides and Ratchets to sell off in case i bleed myself dry during the first wave of the Premium series Autobot landings.

Fast Action Battler Smokescreen. Eh.
His robot mode is weird. It's basically Jazz, but repainted into some sort of Hot Dog On A Stick outfit with a blob of snot for a missle.
I prefer his car mode but the front wheels don't move like the back wheels.. He's just bad.

Not exactly a haul, since I already had it, but what I had assumed to be some ancient knock-offs today turned out to be G1 Autobot Targetmaster Landfill and the front half of Stonecruncher! Landfill doesn't have any of his stickers or his guns though, so now I have to go on my first parts quest of my collecting life...

Re: Transformers Toy haul thread
eBay winning shipments arrived today:
AFA 85 Alternator Swerve (sub-grades: B85/W90/F95) the box & window are amazingly nice! My Precious!
AFA 85 Alternator Mirage (sub-grades: B85/W90/F90)
AFA 85 Alternator Optimus Prime (sub-grades: B85/W85/F85)
Alternator Grimlock Loose Complete
TRU Commemorative Skywarp Loose 95% Complete (missing front landing gear)

I've taken another picture of all AFA Alternators I have so far (adding in UAFA 9.0 Alternator Rodimus bought from HTS.com)

More toys arriving throughout this week, please stay tuned.
I'm actually okay with the blue tone, however, I was hoping this desert brawl would have more sandy gold base color, but rather it's too creamy & light toned. Honestly I got him for completeness sake.
Cheers,
Coolpop
