Today received:

TRU Commemorative Reissue Ultra Magnus MISB
KO G1 Optimus Prime (these KOs always missing something out of factory, quality isn't too good either: occasion loose joints, rough finishes, stress marks on joint hinges & some wide gaps that will never seal up nicely).

Cheers,

You're making more? Awesome! I loved the two in your signature.

Cool! Thanks for support, Thyunda, it means a lot to me! :PEACE:
Yep, there is more Bad Mother Trucking on the horizon, I'll update my sig with an image when it's ready.

Stockade, at your service.

The pics are not so clear. Hurriedly taken. But it will have to do for the moment. :)

(By request. I can't seem to post these in the sightings thread. I'll just parked them here instead. I hope you kids won't mind.)

Coronation gear for Screamer landed today, and mighty fine it is too. Roll on September and my lovely Magnus armour from the same talented folks.

Well, since I'm not getting a Wingblade, hit ToysRUs this morning and picked up a 2nd Jetstorm.
They still had 3 Jetstorms and 3 Wingblades!!
Not to mention a TON of voyager Starcreams and Megatrons.
But I passed on 'Screamer since I'll get 2 Deep Space versions.

My MP Skywarp was delivered today, and damned spiffy he looks, too. Very cool next to G1 MP Screamer.

Except... they look a little lonely...

... Alvin and Simon need their Theodore...

... did the Hasbro guys at Botcon indicate roughly when Thundercracker may be landing, or was it more like "yes, you can have him, but... we're not telling you when! MWUHAHAHAHAHAHAH!"?

Certainly, you'll just have to wait until September. In the meanwhile here's Starscream in his bling.

Cloth, feels sort of nylony. A lot thinner than I was expecting, which in this instance is a good thing. I've heard people calling it felt, but that was before they started shipping.

My Classics Astrotrain arrived from the States today. It only took three weeks to get here and I paid £8.66 for him incl postage. I was hunting him for weeks cos he didn't reach the shops round here.

I found Premium Bublebee at WalMart this morning.
My Stealth Bumblebee arrived from HTS yesterday.
My Henkei Astrotrain was to be delivered yesterday by UPS but apparently the UPS guy came down with a severe case of mental retardation, couldn't deliver it and now I have to drive a half hour out of my way to go pick it up.

It happens. All the time. I work for UPS and have to deal with driver retardation all the time.

Damn, I'm really starting to want the Coronation gear bad...gonna have to go for it soon I think.

Got my Henkei Prime in the mail, finally. I have mixed feelings. He looks great, definitely much better than Classics, however there are loose joints, the alt mode doesn't fit together quite as well, an I swear his head is angled to the right by a degree. Overall I'm quite happy with it, but not 100%. Oh yeah and the silver paint application is pretty sloppy in some areas.

It's the big toss up between Classics and Henkai isn't it. For the most part I'm going to be sticking with my Classics, Astrotrain is all that I'm missing from the line and the Henkai version of him is a nobrainer (although I may still track down the Hasbro version to mswap out the thrusters). Starscream and Megatron I may well look to upgrade, swapping out the cromed weapons on Starscream. The rest I'll probably not bother. I like Jetfire the way he is, Grimlock I've already done the shoulder mod and I'm happy with, Rodimus looks a bit too G1 on the JP version. Bumblebee I'd consider, but it's probably just not worth it in the end and Prime I can do a spot of repainting on if any of his little colour flaws ever manage to bother me enough. From what we've seen so far I'll be going for Henkai Nemesis over the SDCC version, and now that both lines are up and running I'll pick and choose between the Universe and Henkai versions of forthcoming moulds (I'm looking at you Powerglide).

Yep, same strategy here, I'm waiting to see the Henkei versions before I make a decision. Other than that I'm picking the ones I never got before (Astrotrain, Bumblebee), and the ones I think are an improvement (Convoy, Megatron, Starscream). The rest, I'm happy with my Hasbro versions (Hot Rod, Jetfire, Grimlock, Mirage). I guess I'm getting the best of both worlds. I hope not all of them have the noticable difference in quality Convoy has though.

Forgot to mention I love the shades of red and blue plastic they use on Convoy though, so much better and classic Prime-looking than the Hasbro version.
