Looks like you also got a random broken G.I. Joe Annihilator backpack. You can probably just throw that away.

For prices the best way to tell what people are willing to pay for something is to do a search of eBay for ended auctions and try to find something similar to yours. For Skyhopper, in that condition with the missing gun, no ramps, and no micromaster you might get £25 for it if you're lucky. Even complete and in great condition you won't get much more a vintage PM OP. As mentioned above, there are better options out there. In that condition, incomplete (is Hi-Q there, I can't tell from the angle?) you might get £15-25. You can make your money back, just don't expect a huge profit.

But with the yellowing and missing parts, (plus PMOP has been reissued in recent years) finding the right buyer might be hard.

Sell them to Kanrabat for parts. P.S. Kanrabat, G1 Prime can be folded up to fit in the PMOP trailer, just in case you want to try something different that's been done before.

Hey, that's good to know!
Still getting scraps for customs is WAY less expensive to buy them locally than to import them from Europe.

Anyway, I have a haul of my own.

Moar G1 goodness! G1 Double Target Master Quake and G1 Target Master Crosshair! Plus Universe Legion Warpath repainted as Brawl for the '07 Movie line. Bought them cash from my local Geek Store.

Image

Compared to what those go for on Ebay, I havent saved a single cent. And that include paying shipping. Those guys were expensive, but their condition is pristine all over. Tight joints, perfect paint, perfect stickers.

The way Quake's legs transform is the exact same thing as the 1 step cars from AoE and RiD '15. Hollow on the sides and fold up like a switch blade. And that toy is from 1987! So if a technique appear new in a recent toy, it may be WAY older than you think. Still, Quake is a lot of fun and brilliantly designed.

That little "Brawl" is a wonderful little dude. Fun and brilliant.

The king of the lot is definitely G1 Crosshair. His overall look and color scheme make him my headcanon "G1 Orion Pax". No really, just look at him! His transformation is also brilliant and even his targetmaster is fun. The targetmaster transform in TWO steps!!!

Image

Overall, even though this lot was expensive as hell, I regret nothing. My first G1 target masters (not counting Hot Rod that I got and sold ages ago) are very satisfying to have in my collection.

... All thanks to a pile of worthless MTG cards that I got rid of last Saturday...
And thanks to that, most of that money was used to order something off Ebay...
Something...

HUGE!

...It's coming tomorrow...
........Stay tuned!

In my dream! Black Shadow or any Masterforce Headmasters or unique Pretenders are leagues ABOVE "Holy Grail" status I'm afraid.

No, it's physically huge, and just a "normal" Grail... Something relatively affordable but still something I'd have NEVER bought under normal circumstances. You'll see!

Crosshairs is easily my favorite Targetmaster. Best bot and car/truck/SUV/whatever mode and best Targetmaster gun mode. When I was a kid he was my substitute Orion Pax.

Crosshairs was my first Autobot Targetmaster (with Slugslinger being his nemesis). Always had fun transforming him. Mighty fine addition.

Do you still have him? If not, he's pretty affordable, for a G1.

That Crosshair, I eyed him every single times I came to visit my Geek store. Never bought him because I was buying something else and budget is limited.

But today, I had some MTG cash left that need to be burned. So While the owner was busy with his landlord for a while, I just took Crosshair off the shelf and messed with him. I was blown away by how simple yet fun his transformation was and how great he looked. He was an sure buy. Quake was bought as his Target Master adversary, not having enough funds for Trigger Happy. Still, I'm glad I avoided G1 Triggerhappy because he have issues with his canons. (Loosse, broken tabs, ect)

Anyone who want to try out G1 Crosshair on a budget, the bot without target master is easy to find and is dirt cheap. Also, 5mm peg holes make him compatible with every modern weapons. No excuses, get a G1 Crosshair NOW, guys! :APPLAUSE:

Hell yeah. Top condition too (as he was later in line he didn't get as much kid abuse as the first year releases).

I've got a Pointblank coming that has a dodgy leg, which is fine by me because I already have a Pointblank with a busted door. So I'll use both to make a good one and that should finish my Autobot Targetmasters

Niiiiiiiice. ;)

Using parts of bodies to make a perfect one is a smart move. Especially because bodies are usually not rare and cheap. It's the damn accessories that increase the price of any G1 figures exponentially.

Both have their Targetmaster companion.

He's coming with a few others as well, but that can wait until they get here (hopefully next week provided the package doesn't get caught up in the black hole known as Underwood)

I remember Point Blank! He was the only Targetmaster we had back in thd day...nice colors and pretty cool lookin'.

I went on the hunt today, but the only new toys I saw were R/C Squeeks and Dragonstorm....I wanted Windblade. Or Ramhorn. Maybe RID Bludgeon.

But came home with no haul. :(

The figure itself is quite alright, except for the heel piece that tabs into the wheel, but the instruction sheet is utter garbage. It's very unclear on what you should move to where, and the black bodyparts on a black sheet of paper don't exactly help much.

Yes you can swat that Bee. I've been trying to sell it for almost half the RRP on eBay and still no takers. That Predaking is nice.

Yeah when I transformed him, his arm came off once (easily fixed of course, but yeah), and he was kinda fiddly to get into car mode with all seams nicely closed. I don't like the bulges on his arms, but hey, you gotta have Bee, right? As close to G1 as it gets nowadays. Too bad he's not a real Beetle.

Haven't placed him next to one yet, but I'll do that soon and report. (I'll be gone tomorrow, going to a railway museum with the wife and kid). At first glance, he seems as tall as a combiner with perfect effect feet. So that would fit nicely. We'll see what Hasbro is gonna do with PotP.

Yeah I still far prefer the Classics Bee mold for G1 Beeness over this Titans Legends figure. It's nice to transform, has a nice looking well proportioned (and oddly cool looking for G1 Bee) robot mode and has a normal scale car mode so he don't look ridiculously small when rolling out with everyone. For ages I was after one of the versions with the movie-esque black stripes. Never did get one. The gold one released in japan is nice but they didn't bother doing a Goldbug head? I did have a custom Goldbug of the mold yeeears ago. I kinda miss it.

Been away from the boards for awhile. Busy summer for work.

I've been hitting Target and Walmart scouring for some new TR stuff, and actually some movie stuff. Saw voyager Hound, which I think is wave 2?, but none of the other wave 2 guys were accompanying him unfortunately. I kinda want all versions of Megatron.
Not much luck at Target either, though I finally picked up Blaster a week ago because Fort Max needed some tunes.

I finally decided I wanted the Chaos on Velocitron set last week, but the TRU I went to didn't have it and I didn't feel like driving to the one a few cities over that had it in stock. Figured it'd be there today when I checked. Nope... but they do have a spot for Trypticon on the shelves which was exciting to see.

Oh, and I impulse bought my first MP while I was there. Good ol' Optimus. He's something else! I hope I didn't open a door I can't close. Kinda like his chest that just won't stay shut. Seems I can fix that easily enough, but not sure I can fix MP fever.

Thanks to a few hundreds of useless MTG cards, I got myself something NICE.

One of my ultimate (and so many people's) HOLY GRAIL. Something that I would never have gotten normally.

I present you...

:michaelbay: G1 HEADMASTER CITY SCORPONOK! :michaelbay:

Image
Image
Image

Man, that thing is GLORIOUS! 100% COMPLETE, meaning no extra parts at 9999$ each. The stickers have no wear (appart the dead rubsign) and all the joints clicks and tabs perfectly. The scorpion's legs work pretty fine too! His only fault is a bit of chrome wear on one of his leg guards and the big screw of the helmet is rusted and a bit of orange paint wear. Overal though I coinsider it in PERFECT condition. Especially for a toy that is 30 years old.

Bought it off Ebay from a fellow Canadian for 409$CAN shipped!
No customs (obviously) and no hassle. Every single parts had it's own ziplock bag too! Talk about diligence. Came in 3 days.

I so, so happy to finally have the biggest villain ever in my collection!

He's probably the best of the original city bots. He's a fantastic size for both playability and displaying.

All things considered, the price may have been up a LITTLE too much for my liking, but it's been a while since I checked the market so that could be a good deal.
And at least you didn't have to worry about piecing it together. That is not a fun thing to do.

That's an incredible price for him. Especially because he's 100% complete and was shipped from within Canada. It was 385$CAN plus shipping, meaning at 409$ total, everything was reasonable. The original price of this listing was for 700$CAN! But look like the seller had his hopes a bit too up.

I nearly came to buy it from my local Geek Store for 579$CAN taxes included... and it was STILL missing a tiny Fastrack's gun. Buying that gun alone would have been nearly 50$ on Ebay. Heck, I even made a 300$CAN deposit! But I came to reason and opted for regular G1 headmasters instead.

Looking at the listings, 375$ plus shipping seem to be the lowest prices. But all of them are from the USA meaning high shipping and sureshot customs. So finding that Canadian listing was a small miracle!

All thanks to a lot of MTG cards sold at a store. 5 cents and 10 cents cards sure do add up!
