It's gonna be a good week. Got the tax refund back, and thanks to the magic of two kids, it is quite large. So while my wife takes most of it for house stuff, I get a grand to do whatever with. I set about half aside to get stuff for the boys, and I've been shopping with the other half.

Yesterday, I picked up CW Motermaster, Prime, Bombshell, and Dragstrip. I also ordered Masterpiece Bumblebee and Smokescreen, iGear Thundercracker, the Dr Wu weapons set for MP G2 SS, and generations Goldfire.

I put on pre order CW Ultra Magnus and the new 3rd party Sunstreaker, and I think today I'll go on and pre order the xtransbots Megatron.

I really hate the CW MM/Prime mold, but I collect Primes and I want CW Menasor.

Got ANIMATED Swindle for about 7 bucks.

That's crazy, given that normally he's around 100 from what I've seen.

I'm going to be blunt. I LOVE Swindle. He's just such a great figure. I have two MINOR complaints, though. The first one is his hands. They could have been done a bit better, I feel. Plus, they're SO HEAVY. The second thing is his abdomen-chaingun-death-dealing-moneygrabbing-spacebridge-inventory-belly piece. It should at least tab into place, I mean COME ON. It's OBVIOUS!

But aside from that, the dude is optional HEAVEN. He has his flip-out minigun of JUSTICE MONEY, and his shoulder cannons can be kept as-is, set up like a jetpack, or folded up like little wings. His feet-wheels can be arranged two different ways, according to preference, and he has opening hands. Swindle also has some of the best light-piping EVER.

Not only that, his paint-apps are spot on. I do have two teensy nitpicks though. His tail-lights aren't painted, and would look much better in violet, and his bumper should be painted black. The other one is his alt-mode insignia. I think that instead of one MASSIVE symbol on the front, two smaller ones on the doors would be nice, along with one on this silver square that unfolds into his MONEY JUSTICE gun.

His cannon's color changing gimmick is also strangely addictive.

Swindle will never sell for 100$ or 500$. It's readily available MOSC for 40$ at most. Used for 16$.

Nevertheless, 7$ is a great deal.

Ebay noobs, there is a difference between what an item is priced, and what it actually sell for. It's not because my used skid-marks covered briefs is priced at one million dollars that they will sell for that ammount, if at all.

He's making a joke that the guy who got it for 7$ might have another one to sell and is inflating the value and writing a bunch of nice things, hoping to sell the other one he has for 100$. I dont think that's what's happening, but that is the joke Skywarpt was trying to make.

If Prime is a good figure to go buy, the new RID figures are complete crap. :-(

I remember buying the OP for a kid for his 11th birthday. He had me help him transform him. I hadn't touched a TF since my childhood of G1 at that time. At first I thought I broke him, then realized the cab became a bot..."well what's all this other stuff for?" I can't tell you how long it took us to figure it out, but waaaay longer than I would care to admit. He loved that thing though once he got the hang of it. First bot I bought in my adult life, they sure have come a long way!

Seconded. My Super Fire Convoy (I actually have the original Hasbro RiD version, I just love the Takara name) does not have a single tire left intact.

It's the material. Also, the combined mode looks epic, yes, but it is ridiculously unstable. Display combined and it will fall and break. Just an fyi.
