Why sadly? That's nothing to be ashamed of. I'm currently culling my collection, making it more G1-centric.
Especially characters that appeared in the G1 comics. My roots as a TF fan.

I think your collection is amazing! The only thing that would be sad about me owning all those mint G1s would be the fact that I shouldnt play with them :(

It's a small price to pay for having a wall like a Japanese toystore from 1989.

I need to put up some collection pics soon.

TF haul, special "ABOUT FREAKING TIME!" edition. :-(

CW Leader Starscream, stuck in TrU's limbo for almost 2 weeks. Still, 40$CAN with taxes and no shipping is just awesome!

And finally, finally, the Takara special girl trio got unstuck from customs! Without any fees. Kinda expansive at 30$CAN each including shipping, but well worth it for some sweet Takara exclusives.

I'll now ironically take my time to open them. Image

K, you been following the Legends thread? Might want to read the last three pages before you get to into that spider. #-o

Great haul though, the other two ladies are great, and an awesome Screamer for the Starscream addict.

2590 Yen shipped (I learnt from my solo arcee purchase) is a far cry from 29.99$ US at BBTS BEFORE shipping.

Thats 28$ cdn (21.12$ US) shipped instead of 40$ cdn (29.99$ US) before shipping. When I look at it that way, it sounds like a sweet deal :)

Better late then never!
Last month my husband and I went back over to Japan for a week. Of course I had to do some toy shopping and this time, I came prepared! We took a heavy duty travel box that my husband uses for work and I ended up filled it along with my suitcase and a carry-on bag ha ha :)

:) Thanks I was pretty pleased with what I was able to come up with. Japan is really fun and very relaxing. The first time we went over there, my husband was working so we were on a tight schedule and didn't have much time to really explore. This time we were able to do a lot of walking and visit some of the gardens and temples. We stayed primarily in Tokyo just because I became so wrapped up in toy shopping but we did make it to Tokyo Disneyland which was a bit surreal because it is exactly the same as Disney World  Hopefully we will make it back in the next few years, I'd love to be able to take the bullet train.

lol! Starsaber was the one that I had gone into the trip prepared to buy, with how in favor the US dollar is to the yen, I was able to find an opened Starsaber, complete for about $130. I figured there was no point in buying a sealed one when I planned to open it anyway. When it comes to opened toys, the Japanese view that as a defect and tend to discount them pretty good.

sigh. never mind.

lol. I have the combaticons on the way. Im pretty excited by them. I did NOT get Scattershot or Onslaught. I want the silver Onslaught. I hope I dont regret this.
I have been into transformers since 1984.
While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part
I'm not a huge fan of Japanese original Transformers media or designs.
It's easier for me to say which are my LEAST favorite toy lines: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise.
TFCon List: Classics Skywarp, General Optimus, BW Airrazor, Transmetal Tarantulus, Alternity Prime, Fire Convoy

 Yup, pretty much! There are only a few now that I am missing from the Q line, I think #1 Prime, Tracks and the new ones that just came out like last week... Didn't buy the Eva one because I know nothing about Eva and it was kinda pricey.

I don't think I ever got an answer to my query here. One of those slider joints is still stuck, and I don't seem to have a screwdriver that can undo the screw in his knee. Any suggestions? :HEADHURTS:

Also, I found Animated Oil Slick a couple weeks ago, which was pretty cool. Gotta say, as someone who's not crazy about the TFA aesthetic, he does it well.

I think the only way to fix that Alternity starscream is to put it in the microwave oven for 3 minutes. If it dosent work, the conventional oven will do. Use the "self cleaning" option and let it run it's course. [-(

As for Animated oilslick, It's one of my favorite TF ever! And it's super cheap too. Guys, if you don't have it, you have no excuses to miss out. :APPLAUSE:
