Well...the stuff from a few years ago. How I wish for 2005-2010 again :)

Yeah, starting at Cybertron until DOTM was a real golden era of nice solid TFs where leaders were truly leaders. I still cant believe at how incredible that value was on HFTD Starscream.

We couldnt have known, remember the year before when we walked through Target making fun of their signs marking "sale" on items that had absolutely no discount. This year was better. Walmart had those super cheap seekers, TRU had that nice Platinum Dinobot set as well as the exclusive legion 2 packs. I just got the other one today. 9.99$ for these two was not bad at all:

If the price doesn't rocket after Christmas I would like to see these guys as my Classics Dinobots, unless of course Hasbro surprise us with some all new Classics styled Dinorobits! :-?

:BOT: :CON:

Somewhat related, whilst browsing my local Wilko's for rubber dinosaurs I had a nagging itch which resulted in the purchase of Legends Combiner Wars Groove?
I was drunk in need of robot! :-$

HA, nice! And if you want to see more, I jotted down the differences here where you can see more pics of them: http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/ ... dow/34292/

I came to accept the fact that voyager Generations Brainstorm will NEVER come to Canada. So I bit the bullet and bought it off Ebay. 41$CAN shipped is not too bad considered that full price is 35$CAN with taxes.

I've yet to receive it. Once I do I'll share my thoughts. I do hope I will not regret it.

I think its a fun figure that looks good in both modes. And that's just icing on the cake if you're into MTMTE. It's a great representation of that version of the character. Shame he doesn't come with a briefcase though.

Yeah thats a totally decent deal. I do warn you though, you wont care for his transformation. This guy is the essence of Style over Substance but boy is he stylish!

And Cary, Megamoonman is your man for this stuff, I like his product and he does it all himself on a 3D printer. His site is currently in reconstruction but you can alwaye e-mail him http://www.megamoonman.com/

I recommend his Jetfire kit to fill up all his holes (and let me tell you, that dirty w#%$@ loved it )

Regrt is the worst kind of regrt one can have! ;)

Glad you finally decided to get him! Did Gen Armada Megs finally decided you? For me, he's the defenitive Megatron. G1 look, plus perfect altmode for him.

BTW, for that ultimate G1 look, the Reprolabels work wonder!

Finally got around to picking up the CW Motormaster with the fixed hips. I made a TRU employee climb to the top shelf to get the case down, and lo and behold there he was with Battlecore Prime.

Its really more for the armada version to reference that toy's playability. But I guess they just kept them there for the mold in general.

Really? Its got its flaws, but I don't know if I'd go that far. I always felt the 'vette was one of the weaker Binaltech molds.

I personally hate the Alternator Tacks mold. Vastly inferior to Jazz, Rodimus, Hound, and Skids.

If the MP is worst than that, it just mean more money saved.

Needlessly over-complicated.

Honestly, they could have just taken the G1 figure and given it some articulation in the legs and it would have been better.

But that's what the generations line is for ;)

Thanks for answering me. That's how I felt about MP 03 Starscream when I fist got my hands on that mold. And it's why I stay away from third party releases. I dont mind complexity and rather welcome it, but I always give props to an elegant transformation that isn't needlessly over-complicated (which distinguishes the Combiner Wars toys over the 3P Combiners). I find it takes just as much effort, if not more, to make something less complicated while achieving a similar result.
