I used a USB tool thingy I still had on my PC from a while back to check it throughly (didn't appear to be anything on it, not even 'hidden' files) and did a full format. Is that enough?

Running spyware and malware checkers on my PC just to be sure. :P

That should be enough, but...just be careful, OK? I've had Chinese malware on my PC before. It ain't fun.

It's cool. I plugged into my laptop first and did all this checking and formatting. The laptop's just my 'emulation' machine plugged into the TV and sharing my PS4's dual shock 4 joypads for arcade and retro console game fun. Nothing majorly important on the laptop that can't be replaced easily. Wasn't planning on backing up anything important on Ravage, just maybe use him to transfer the odd bunch of chunky files and such. :)

The desktop PC has all my actual work and history and such and so I would want to be sure Ravage be a good boy before he gets to put his thing in there.
I have anxiety, depression and aspergers syndrome so my behaviour can be erratic. I don't mean offense to anyone. Just very picky about my Transformers collecting. You're all cool! :)

Likes: Bayverse, Marvel UK G1, Geoff Senior art, '86 movie (more for style/soundtrack rather than Star Wars plot)
Dislikes: Bumblebee movie (lousy rehashed dumb crud), TFA, G1 cartoon, IDW G1, BW/BM, MP. The entire concept of Autobot Megatron

I got a doozy today. First up, Armada RED Thrust! I wanted this guy for a looooong time. It's funny, for all the hate I have for Armada, I actually have a lot of love for handful of figures from the line.

Image

And! E-Hobby Roadrage and Crosscut. Another pair I've been wanting for a looooooooooooooong time

E-Hobby Roadrage and Crosscut? As in, modern character made as repaints of G1 molds? So, that's where Roadrage come from? Woah. Look rare and expensive.

It's a classic move for old E-Hobby actually. And while "modern", they are actually Diaclone inspired. I see it as the Transformers brand giving legitimacy to the Diaclone versions of characters we never got.

After looking it up, these guys are even older than I thought.

Not very entusiastic by the internet pictures... live, a great surprise: fluid transformation, exellent details, firm and poseable robot...

... and MP-9 is just a shadow.

These are not worth any pictures. Two bots that I never tought I would get but did anyway because of TrU's sale. I'm very late to the party because the shelves were empty.

First, CW Ironhide, for having a bright red limb instead of a boring black one to put on Optimus Maximus. Nice mold, but mine had a problem with a very, very loose ball-joint for the head. The thing kept popping off. A bit of crazy glue fixed the issue. Not a great figure, but not bad either.

Second is deluxe RiD Grimlock, "geewunish" colors. Ew. What garbage. First, we missed the glorious gold paint the packaging promised. Instead, we get the same butterscotch as those lame, overpriced YOTG Platinums. A bummer, but not a dealbreaker. The worst is, what's up with the bot's shoulders / dino hips? They are as loose like a limp dongs. What's up with that? Also, a big hole behind the dino's neck, and finally, wide child-bearing hips for the dino. The 3 steps is defenitely the superior mold.

I would say the Takara FOC grimlock retool is the superior mold. But thanks for taking the bullet, I will avoid this guy.

I can't judge something I don't own. I meant between the two because I do have the 3 steps. The 3 steps is fun, well proportioned, tight, and is amazing looking all the way.

I don't really like FOC Grimlock so I'm hesitant to pay the big bucks for the RiD retool.

And yeah, deluxe RiD Grimlock is not worth it. Even on sale.

Yeah, and it wasnt much of a sale at that. I can understand you being being hesitant. I will say this, its as much an improvement on the initial mold as Slipstream is for the Windblade mold.

I like that mold personally. I have both the original RID and the G1 redeco. The original's forearms were suuuuper limp, but the "gold grimlock" had much better ones (but still not perfect).
I will admit they botched that paint job.

Well, I sold off Menisaur, so I've been collecting the Autobot wave 1 cars, and I'm a huge Skylynx fan. Brawl and Dwindle were simple poor impulse control, I still plan on getting Takara Bruticus.

My favorite is easily Sunstreaker Sunsurge, simply an amazing toy. The least is KO Red Alert. Bit of a floppy mess, but that's a risk you take. KO Bluestreak, on the other hand, his quality is indistinguishable from an official figure. Super happy there. My thoughts on Ironhide and Hot Rod are well known.

Finally found these guys in stores. I'm pretty happy with them, though Buzzsaw's stickers aren't straight(only apparent in phone mode) and Chop's right pincer is super loose(much more irritating). I really love the Pipes/Huffer/OP mold even though it doesn't work all that well for Huffer and Pipes. I might fashion some custom pipes to attach to his arms to make him slightly more like the IDW version of the character.

In other news, I caved to poor impulse control and bought CW Onslaught. His robot mode is okay, his alt mode sucks, but as a torso, he is frickin brilliant.
