Found some stuff at the thrift shop today, all for 1.99$

Deluxe Movie Ironhide
Cybertron Defense Hotshot
and G1 Mini Spy

Until today I had no clue who these minispys were. Turns out they were from Takara's Mecha Warrior line and were the first toys to have rub signs in G1 to sell the idea that you couldnt know on which side they were. And thats even when purchasing them, it was blind. So while there are only 4 molds, there are 3 colours they can come in and they can be good or evil and there are 2 different pull back motor variations meaning there are 48 variations of these 4 molds. Don't know if anyone has them all or cares to own them all. I have the 1 and that's all I need.

Quillfire and Fracture are awesome. Megatronus too, but no surprise there as I have the Hasbro version. And Thunderhoof might be awesome.... but I can't transform him. His left thigh ball joint is glued in place and I've pretty much wrecked it trying to free it. I'll have to find a Hasbro version to fix him with

You'll hate me. I see them at Walmart all the time but I am waiting for 2 things:

1. To show up at TRU so I can use my raincheck
2. To find TAV Thunderhoof for cheap on the secondary Japanese market

When I heard Scotty say that Thunderhoof was pleasantly complex and a decent transformer, I thought he deserved me to get him in the best deco possible. Just like with Jazz. I really need those blue rake antlers. Quillfire's Hasbro deco is perfectly fine for me.

Definitely better plastic color usage. Takara will always have more paint details though, but none strike me as more show accurate without comparing to a screen cap.

No no, that price is fine, but they sold out before I could get to it. It's like what happened with your Drift. But its fine, I will keep a look out at the usual places it might pop up.

well that, and the wafer thin midsection which makes him more blatently hallow than any of the other torsos, even Defensor and Bruticus had something surrounding the hallow parts

i would have preffered a Leader class Skylynx with all the G1 forms over a near skeletal torso mode

Love Mr Crab, but ya gotta be carful with the eyeballs. They detach easely and are a biotch to put back on. As for Megatronus, I was pleasantly surprized. It's great looking in bot mode, the vehicle is awesome, and the transformation is simple, fun, and clever. I highly recommend him.

Titanium War Within Prowl and Fallen, both complete with boxes, and a completely sealed Titanium Thundercracker for my sealed TC collection. PLUS a Beast Wars Retrax because why not? To have this lot, I gave a MC Knight Morpher Screecher, loose but complete. That's one prickly buyer remorse that I'm glad to have finally got rid of, for things that I wanted too! Also, the trade was made in person pretty quickly so I couldn't be happier.
