Got a crazy haul today. Five volumes of G1 VHS cassettes STILL FACTORY SEALED. Being sealed is almost unheard of, hell, you're usually lucky enough to find them without the boxes being crushed.







And these new 5 bring my total up to 7! I don't even have a VHS player yet and I honestly don't know if I can bring myself to open them

The trade madness is still going!

I gave a new and sealed DOTM Human Alliance Leadfoot (Will, you missed your chance! ), plus these complete DOTM deluxes: Roadbuster, Topspin, Q (Wheeljack) and green Ratchet and finally, a loose but complete deluxe ROTF Sideswipe for.........



Titanium sunstorm (to display at work), Cap Bot , ROTF Dirtboss, TF Xover copter Spiderman... and... 20th Anniversary Hasbro MP-01! Granted, said MP is missing some parts. The back plate, the Matrix & container, plus a back calf piston.

I already have my Takara MP-01 Last Shot so, THAT particular Hasbro MP-01 will be given to a friend's B-day... next October.
Also, dat base's voicebox...

I think these original VHS's don't contain the hideous amount of animation errors we saw in the many DVD releases of the G1 toon. I distinctly recall a handful of episodes being different when I watched them as a child. So hopefully I'm right!

THose VHS tapes are pretty cool! If I remember correctly the most incorrect release of the cartoon is the Rhino DVD versions with "fixed" colorations that usually screwed things up even worse and new sound effects. The Shout Factory DVD releases reverted most of the changes but I think a few slipped through. How many of those tapes are there in total anyways?

I've got both Rhino and Shout's DVD's, and I don't really notice any difference between the two. One might have slightly less errors, but they're both riddled with them still.

As to how many volumes of these VHS's there are, I'm not entirely sure. I thought it was just 1-10 (last being Heavy Metal War, end of S1). But I've since seen a volume 12(?) that featured the Arialbots which doesn't make a whole lot of sense chronologically. I'll get whatever I can, but my main concern is the first season.

Found ROTF Demolishor at the Thrift Store (there was also a leader BB but a tf collector spotted it right before me and snatched it away ) I found a minicon there too. And at TRU, I found Quillfire and used my raincheck. Thunderhoof was there too but I am still not sure if I should get the Takara one instead.

Gotta be quick! I'm going to the big car boot sale again this Sunday. Wasn't a single proper Transformers figure last time though (got a Doctor Who modern Silurian and a couple vintage ThunderCats though so not a total waste of time) but yeah when I get there I barely stay still, I'm almost jogging up and down every row of cars to try find the good stuff before someone else grabs them and I do multiple laps just in case I missed something or someone was late putting stuff out. And considering I cycle nearly 5 miles to get there (by 7am) spend about a couple hours there and then cycle the 5 back again home it's a fair bit of exercise for early sunday morning. I just can't let myself skip it though cos you always think to yourself you probably missed some awesome bargains if you don't go.

I'm still waiting for an eBay Transformers figure delivery from nearly two weeks ago. Hm, I've messaged him yesterday asking where is it? I will give him a few more days before pursuing it further.

Took a chance on some *ahem* MP cassettes. The price was right and I was able to use some rewards points so these technically didn't cost me anything. They weren't even supposed to arrive until the middle of next month so it was a nice surprise at the mailbox today.





All I need is a decent Laserbeak and Ratbat. And Soundwave I suppose, but his FOC self does the trick for the time being.

Also, thanks to Rodimus Prime, I finally got my hands on that damn ROTF toaster. It's also nice to have a Titanium WW Megs (It's not a good figure) and a .07 Movie Ice Megs (better than expected). And finally, another junker Unicron, to create something unholy! Thanks dude, for this nice lot!

Last but not least is CW Cyclonus that I bought yesterday. Now, mighty GALVATRONUS is finally complete!

OK, as an owner of the molds, Ice Megatron is an awesome pickup as I do like the mold. and movie 1 leader prime is the best mix of simple and accurate and good. I love that guy (I also have the nightwatch version, which is badass)

I finally got my Fire Convoy for my Prime collection. Unfortunately the rubber tires are split but its ok, he looks good on the shelf and thats what matters to me. Also picked up a prime 3-step and he's pretty fun. I kept trying to change him faster and faster.

Waiting for TFCon Chicago to really look. Saving up and hoping to spend a lot this year! lol

Amazing idea! I think it would be as awesome, with 4 Vortexes. It will be an even better throwback at G1 Galvatron colorwise.
