Sort of a new haul, I recently found a box at my parent's house where I had squirreled away most of my GoBots and Transformers so my mom wouldn't get rid of them in one of her batches of 'get rid of stuff that she says doesn't get played with anymore'. A little piece of my childhood now alongside the rest of my adult collection.

Monsterous I think? I'm missing one of the legs, but it will stand on the "hip" figure just fine.

Finally picked up TR Galvatron today, think he needs a new hat though. Will have to get one from Shapeways when I can. Other than that, its wonderful. Guess I am the only one here who likes the way the cannon was placed on the arm though.

I agree. The facemask is it's only weakness. Should have a helmet à la Blaster.

If he had a helmet it'd be way too big. It works for the Leader class, but for a Voyager...

Scored a decent price on that platnum cyclonus set. Its the only Platinum I really wanted this year, I love that deco. Got it for $63 CAD, which is about $50 USD, before taxes. I thought that was as fair as it could get. Now I have a nice army of sweeps! I liked playing with these molds again. The Generations Scourge mold is superior to the TR one in terms of engineering and the look of the wings, to me, and having the alt mode laser actually be his head. I guess I preffer having a new look and homaging G1 rather than trying to be G1 and missing the mark.

One thing though that I dont know has been said or not, but there is remolding on the Gen Scourge mold. The head can no longer sink down to hide in alt mode. Is this on just mine or on others too?

Will, that Platinum set is very nice for 63$. It's just a few bucks above the usual normal price per figures. For a Platinum, it's very good.

Also, be careful with the hands on the G1 Optimus upgrade kits. The original hands broke off if you tried to open them. I don't know if they fixed that issue over the years. Still, now your G1 Optimus is MORE than complete! I really love that Matrix. You'll just have to store the fists in the jetpack.

Unfortunately my Skullsmasher has floppy leg syndrome but it doesn't stop me from enjoying him. Just have to be q little careful is all. I still have yet to see Blaster who I really want

Oh and I got the purple scorpio. Avery, VERY great mold. You'll enjoy it. It does some very creative things in it's transformation.

Oh I got Paralon too. Tis a great mold for sure.



And Windy, I liked the first Windblade mold, and I like this mold even more. She feels just as posable, more stable with much better feet/heels, and a more solid jet. My one and only complaint: those damn visible hands in jet mode. If not for that, I would say this mold is perfect. And I simply cannot wait for the TAV version to be released.

Carboot time again - I got a rather spiffy Vtech Dinosaur Helicopter half a dozen or so of Prime Legions, a Cyberverse Commander Optimus and a 3 Step Changer RID-15 Grimlock all for £2.00
I also got a bunch of Junker for a few pence including Prime Cliffjumper, an intact Movie DOTM ratchet Legion a Beast Hunters Wheeljack (oddly the most swirly looking one yet with more ink in the plastic than any other one I've ever seen he's got so much ink swirl in him he's nearly grey). I also got a bunch of Movie / Universe (Energon Mould) Aerial Bot limbs for 10p each.

I was pleased to get the Grimlock and the V-tech Helicopter though in particular.

Almost picked up a CW Scattershot.

Reason being: Went to Walmart, and poor Scattershot was beat up. the box was smashed and I'm pretty sure someone broke in. everything was loose and there were no ties holding down the figure or gun. his limbs are all messed up and it looked like his combiner head had either been taken or the antennae broken off. Brought it up and they were still going to charge me full price for it, despite how beat to scrap it was. Decided not to and just gave it back. Said they'll get a reimbursement through the seller.
