Oh and my TRU had fort max, wave 1 deluxes and that snazzy RID stasis pod pack.
Update: just found mindwipe and wolfy at walgreens! No Brainstorm though...
Also, here's a picture of the three best friends since words are boring!
And yes, I did the thing I've been chirping about from time to time with Dome's shoulders. Gotta shave a little more off the construct bot wheel peg but I think it looks alright, don't you?
Mr Skram wrote:Oof, bummer. Just got around to transforming these guys and Mindwipe's titanmaster is missing his legs...

Wow, how does that happen?

Factory error or something I'd guess. Some of those titanmaster legs are pretty loose so it was bound to happen to someone. Going to try to contact Hasbro if the site will stop being buggy for me. It all else fails I suppose I'll get a second Apeface and use his legs. It's not a perfect match but it's probably as close as I'll get.
Sjeng wrote:Wooh, I'm pretty stoked! Just ordered UW Menasor, Convoy Grand Prime, Bruticus ánd Computron from a Dutch reseller for a reasonable price! Awesome!
Now I only need to find a Skyreign/Lynxmaster and a Superion from either Takara or Hasbro and I'll have all the sets I wanted! (Well, maybe Devastator someday...)
Now I can retire from actively searching for a bit

Daaaaamn that's a good haul! How much did it cost ya? Either way four combiners right out of the box is gonna look pretty awesome.

A great haul always erases the anguish of a terrible work day.

Esily one of the best toy lines ever. The aesthetic can be divisive for sure, but the engineering is the best around and it is impressive how they were able to mimic a very 2 dimensional aesthetic into toy form.

it's so different from other TF toylines' aesthetics that you can't really put them next to each other

You say that, but for years many fans were using the animated Arcee as their classics Arcee.

Because there wasn't really any other option... I kinda take Vangelus' take on it.

I always thought Energon was a decent classics arcee, maybe a bit small, but she worked well with GDO Sprigner.

But yeah, basically, I just don't find the Animated aesthetic to mix well with other toylines is all. It looks great on it's own but the inability to mix is imo it's only downside.
