Yeah, I was on cloud 9 today. I still am! I'm really loving these figures.

I don't have a digital camera and my brother's cell phone doesn't take the greatest photos but maybe I'll take a photo of these figures and upload them.

Grimlock is very cool. I was kind of skeptical about him because his robot mode looked so-so from the photos I've seen. However, once I had him in hand, I think he's great. The alt mode is gorgeous, though all Alternators/Binaltech look great in alt mode. His robot mode is pretty darn cool. It has a nice hulking look, suiting the character. The dual barrel engine/cannon and energy sword are nice nods to his G1 incarnation.

The one drawback to Alts Grimlock is that he does seem to be plagued with loose ball joints. I've seen a few reviews of the figure and everyone mentions the parts on ball joints popping off. So I took mine apart and applied a coat of super glue to the ball joints to tighten them up.

The packaging is Japanese. Pretty classy stuff actually, even comes with a mini-comic. Too bad I can't understand it!
I never thought I'd really want a Wheelie*, but as soon as I saw what this one looked like I wanted it for some reason. The worrying thing is, I think I may have wanted it so much because the face is such a good representation of the cartoon Wheelie :oops:

Getting them home now I think I like the Cosmos figure the most. All three look good in robot and vehicle mode and are easy to transform.
A nice set of toys if you can get them.

*Just remembered that kitbash thing from a couple of years ago. That looked great. I really would have wanted that if I could have got it.

I plan on modding some of my figures to incorporate ball joints. I wanted to do this for Henkei Ratchet but its head sculpt isn't made to handle such a mod.

I got the idea from Jin Saotome's guide.

I picked up RotF Scout Rollbar this evening from Zellers(30% sale!).

Great little figure, I love the sculpt and I don't mind the shell kibble. It gives some extra broadness. He has great articulation, like all the Scouts I've seen so far in RotF. The head sculpt is reminiscent of OP. He could be Fed-Ex Prime.

Unfortunately, the little guy was yet another victim of Hasbro's perverse twisty ties of doom. Also, clear rubber bands were securing his arms to his shell kibble...what the heck, Hasbro? What could possibly happen if his arms weren't tied down? Sickos.

I've yet to pickup ROTF Scout Rollbar, I think I'll wait for the repaint of this guy. I never did get the idea behind those clear rubber bands, I think it's to prevent the arm from springing out of the package. Toy Machine anyeone?
