Went to a really cool shop in Victoria BC called Cherry Bomb Toys. They have a HUGE selection of G1 toys, most of them in very good condition too.

My girlfriend helped me pay for a G1 Sixshot. He's missing a gun and all the stickers, and we paid $75, but I think that's an okay deal considering the figure itself is in VERY good condition, with hardly any wear, chrome or otherwise. In fact, I think the only flaw would be a minor stress mark which will be covered once I get reprolabels on there. I'm pretty pleased. Now if they ever reissue Sixshot I won't have to pay the ridiculous price it will probably cost.

True, some of their items are a little pricy, but eBay shipping from the US has also skyrocketed, so in the end I still think I got a pretty good deal. It's still really awesome to just go and look at their huge selection of vintage stuff.

Picked up HftD Firetrap. In many ways he makes for a nicer Classics Brawn stand in than RotF Brawn does. I've put him with my smaller scale Classics at the momment.

Universe Cyclonus/Rodimus 2-pack. Cyclonus is excellent. I've had KO's that didn't feel as cheap as Rodimus though. The Classics version seemed better quality.

Ironic that I have a sought after figure I don't want. Someday I'll get the Protector armour for the Classics version.

Picked up Leader Jetfire for $30 at Walmart on clearance. Would someone tell me if he can combine w/ Leader Battle Hooks Prime, they had that for the same price. If they do I might pick that up too. They also had HFTD Voys for $13.97

Picked up a TON of stuff since my last posting here, including a PoL, and several months of purchases, but I'll just hit some of the highlights.

Legends

Trailbreaker (TrailCUTTER is a stupid name)

Overall pretty happy with these guys. The Prime and Megsy could both use some tweaking and they'd be great instead of just good.

I've heard a couple people complain about Trailbreaker, but I don't get that. I think he's great! Only thing I don't like is the lack of paint apps, which is kind of expected in a legends scale, and the inability to ever remold him into a proper Hoist because of the way the arms transform.

Heavytread
Skyhammer

Easily the best PCC commanders made. And for the PCC haters out there Heavytread is just an excellent scout sized tank, which is probably why he's sold out everywhere.

It's a shame. All of his modes are flawless, and I'd buy multiples just to display him in several modes at the same time.

Skyhammer is great too, His bot mode is a little quirky, but I like it quite a bit. However, his commander mode is second only to Heavytread.

It's really sad that these were the last 2 to come out, and many may never see them in store.

I picked up the last I was missing, including: G2 Prime, Scourge, Suspenders BB, Wreck-Gar, Perceptor and Kup.

I have not opened up Prime, Scourge, WG, or BB yet. I need to rearrange the shelves a bit for them.

But Perceptor is twice as cool as I thought he would be. I'm really much, much more thrilled with him than I thought I would be from the images. He has a lot more range of motion, and just a great look to him.

I LOVE the design of Kup, "clown feet" and all. The only thing that sucks is the goofy head he comes with, but the iGear set takes care of that issue, and IMO is a must buy addition.

I have finally been Counterpunched*.

I was forced, as if at gunpoint, to get United Lugnut.

The paint apps on that guy are just beautiful. He looks so cool, and different enough from RtS Lugnut that they can stand together and look like completely different characters, without invalidating the original purchase.
