This week,
HFTD / Scout
Brimstone

: I love bikes! He has a terrific chopper mode. This is my first experience with this mold. In
scale, he fits well with Leaders and HA figures. In botmode, I like how the front tire split into
spinnig blades on both arms. He’s a good scout. I just wish his ankles had joints and thighs could
swivel.
TF Prime / First Edition Deluxe
Bumblebee

: One of or maybe the best articulated deluxe Bumblebees out there. His light piping is
top notch. It reminds me of TF Animated Rodimus light piping. Light coming in from the top of the
head instead of the back is the way to go. He’s close to being show accurate accept for the doors.
They’re not close together enough for my taste and the shoulders are loose. In car mode,
I prefer the clear head lights, not the blue. He has nice rims and no rear end kibble. He needs
a second gun to be complete, but MAN, what a great start for the TF Prime line.
Arcee

: Like I said before, I love bikes. She has to be one of my favorites. Everything from the wheels
to the windshield looks awesome. I’m not so fond of her blades in vmode. She doesn’t look bad,
she just looks better without them. In botmode I like her design, but the handle bars and
windsheild need to collapes farther down. Even with the front tire sitting flat on her back, her
kibble
still sits too high, so I position the tire to protrude out from her back like the CGI model. She’s
sassy, tough and her articulation will let you express both. I know she’s not in scale with deluxe BB,
but she’s a buy.
Starscream

: I wanted to wait for the voyager version but I couldn’t resist. I thought his chest and
legs being visable in jet mode would bother me, but it doesn’t. His
transformeration is intricate, satisfying and my favorite out of the first three Prime deluxes.
In botmode it’s amazing how Hasbro captured his CGI look. When it comes to posing, he’s no
exception. Like Arcee and Bumblebee, Starscream has great articulation. Smarmy, sneaky, and
betrayal become visable when you display this figure. I do wish the rubber piece on his
forehead and his missiles were red. It’s ok, my red permanent marker took care of that.
