I really hope the arms are pile drivers, but from the photo they look like the top of the treads. I am hope I am wrong.

Don't know what there is to question. It's either they are giving both figures the piledrivers or they are giving Frenzy the blue paint and Rumble red with piledrivers. One thing that I can see is that they are two completely different figures, it seems that rumble (probably red) has different feet (no toes/claws), it seems like the tank turret splits into two, and the tank treads is quite possibly going to be the piledrivers themselves but with a bit of transformation. They aren't tapes anymore that go into a chest cavity so there will be a leeway for the creative process.

If there is a combined tank mode, it would make sense for the alt modes to look different. I'm guessing a quad treaded tank ala legends warpath, with the rear turret higher than the other explaining the "backpack" split. If anything, maybe both rumble and frenzy will be blue. Gives hasbro a reason to release red repaints for both. FIRBRIBR
