What if that Arcee is either a Prime homage (discussed previously) or an energon homage?

I'd like that as well. I don't want/need another Gen Arcee, doubt they can top the Prime FE and can completely skip all UT homagesHellscream9999 wrote:An updated energon arcee would be sick, I'd be all over thatD-Maximal_Primal wrote:Something else to consider with what the podcast was saying and now some thoughts of my own:

No, they're not. We've been through this. Any time they appear in official imagery from Hasbro it has grey hands cuz they keep using slightly older prototypes. Not only have multiple separate people's final in-hand copies show that the hands are painted blue, but the most recent official Takara photography in Figure King magazine has them painted blue, as well. They. Will. Be. Blue.

And this makes exactly 1/2 of the known Japanese line to be TTM exclusives in that market.carytheone wrote:That seems odd, doesn't it?Sabrblade wrote:Cliffjumper and the Micromaster 2-pack Bombshock & Growl, who are mass retail figures in Hasbro's markets, will be TakaraTomy Mall exclusives in Japan.

It's too bad no one has gotten their hands on the voyagers yet for an early review. The above video would be that much better to have ALL of the wave 1 Autobots, which would include Voyager Class Grapple.
Can't say I'm very familiar with TTM, but is it any different than retailer exclusive figures like here in the states? Are the figures fairly easy to obtain by people in that market at a reasonable/comparable price?JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Which is quite curious. Think of it like this. Imagine if Hasbro and Takara were to put out another shared line together (like they have with both POTP and Siege), in which the majority of the figures would be sold at standard retail in Japan, while in Hasbro's markets, only half would go to Target and Walmart while the other half would only be sold by Hasbro Pulse from the line's onset, despite all of the figures being ordinary figures intended for normal retail. That's what's weird.carytheone wrote:Can't say I'm very familiar with TTM, but is it any different than retailer exclusive figures like here in the states? Kinda makes you wonder what the motivation or game plan is. Are retail sales diminishing in Japan, are the retailers refusing to stock the line or do they have something else in mind for standard retail?Sabrblade wrote:Think of it like this. We got something similar with Hasbro. No reason really for Siege Ratchet and POTP Wreckgar to be walgreens exclusive and not intergrated into the mainline instead. I know wreckgar wasn't an exclusive in Japan, they must have been saying the same about us. It's just having retailer exclusives for the sake of it, both companies are guilty of it.
