Either that or an Amazon exclusive... Either way I'd be very open to them doing a crossover like this every year.

Cyclonus looks really good despite being a prototype but I'm not entirely sure I want to drop my rule of 'mostly one toy per character' as I got CW Cyclonus. Given how small ER Cyclonus is likely to be I'm not sure yet: I know the easy answer is to say CW Cyclonus is his 'Armada'. That said I'm cutting down on the toy budget massively, especially after the full Seacons set.

Right now the only guy I'm replacing is Doubledealer, but that's because T30 Blitzwing is a horrendous mold to transform and just bad to handle.

Not only that, but it's more an hommage than anything else. As if another character cosplayed as Doubledealer. The ER version is the true update.

Well tbh I only got T30 Doubledealer back then because he was on sale and wanted to display him with Overlord. He looks good in robot mode but transforming him give me headaches.

I'm a fan of DD and I have the G1 original. I even made a custom DD using Cybertron Defence Red Alert as a modern update.

I still bought the T30 DD because he was also on sale and he was so "try hard", I just had to buy it. Still a pain to transform though. Nothing is intuitive and it's fiddly as well.

Now, if ER DD would come out already! I'd buy him at full price with no hesitation. Then, I'll have to get that Select cassettes pack.

This is the BEST Cyclonus figure EVER! Best robot mode coupled to the single Best alt mode for any Cyclonus release ever! I am definitely gonna try my best to get a hold of this one. I have been very impressed with most of the SIEGE line, especially the EARTHRISE series of bots seen so far. Colossal time for all TRANSFORMERS fans. We are seeing a New "Golden Age" for TF.

Who knows? Ectotron didn't exactly coincide with the new Ghostbusters film. That seems to have vanished, news-wise, like everything else movie related.

They announced the new date for the new Ghostbusters movie sometime back, it was pushed back a whole year and will be out in summer 2021 now :(

So if we get a new Galvatron what do you guys think the odds are of a redeco as either 'Galvatron II' or toy colors?

I'd actually prefer a toy accurate/Galvatron II color scheme, it would be great

They might wait and see if eHOBBY wants first crack at a toy colors Galvatron II, since they made the first toy of him before.

You're right on both accounts. Magna Convoy was an eHOBBY exclusive Legends toy.

What even IS eHobby anyway? I know the term is thrown around at Japanese exclusive redeco but is it a group? A company? A special line? What's the relationship here.

Basically, e-HOBBY exclusives are a kind of store exclusives.

I would be OK with it. Jazz has recently become a favorite character of mine across his many versions, would not mind a good WFC one

I think they could give him a run for his money with a WFC version.

With the poster art, it doesn't seem like they'd be putting guys in it they aren't plan on making. But we might be in new territory.
