Looks like Target is starting to move some of the Earthrise voyagers that were slated for a September release. I ordered 2 Quintessons together and they have both shipped. I had a second order with a 3rd Quintesson and Snapdragon, and for that one only Snapdragon has shipped. Hopefully the deluxes (and my last Quint) won't be too far behind.

So despite what I said yesterday, I pre-ordered the set. Much like movie Jazz when SS started out, I've realized Ratchet has sort of become a closet favorite of mine thanks to Prime and IDW2005, and his Siege and movie versions have helped towards that as well.

It probably helps that he's the most featured Autobot in the last generation or two outside of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee which means he has a lot of time and chances to grow on someone.

Throw enough Ratchets at someone and one is bound to stick eh?

This weekend, or early next week should be interesting, because pretty much every major site (Pulse, Walmart, Target), had the Wave 2 deluxes slated for Sept 1. Most other online retailers just say "September" in general, but these ones say specifically 9/1. I've had Airwave on pre-order at Target since Feb. Hearing some of the voyagers are shipping is encouraging, even though I saw Snapdragon in store about a month ago... Oh well, If wave 2 deluxes happen to hit the shelves before me pre-order, Ill just cancel. I have a $25 Target gift card that would be perfect for that anyway...

I'm hearing some potential rumors that one of the sets will be diaclone repaints to make Cordon and/or Spin-out, and the potential for an Apeface/Snapdragon 2-pack repaint as either those characters or some different continuity characters from the designs. Not a lot of stuff to go with, but it seems plausible

Lame! It would have been way cooler to get a Black Galaxy Prime. But man...I want the Red Slitherfang.... . Also can Siege Prime even haul the ER Trailer? Unless some slight retooling was done.

I mean, the legs are basically the same? Only difference is that ER was retooled not to flip around for transformation, plus the trailer's on a 5mm peg, right?

As a side note, thank Primus this guy was revealed. Now I don't have to try and hunt down Takara's Siege Nemesis

as to the leg retool, you are correct sir, even though the original peg hole is still on the ER prime. however said peg hole is much further up on the truck, which is why the trailer looks like its almost touching the cab here

It looks like they're using gunmetal grey (is that what it's called still? Or did that get rebranded?), but considering he comes with a trailer, sword, wrist guns, and a red Slitherfang for about the same price as it would cost me to get Takara's, I'm fine with it. Besides, this one I can theoretically walk into Walmart and pick up which is always a plus for me (it'd be better if it wasn't Walmart, but hey, Brick and Mortar is Brick and Mortar )

Can it not be both? The Magnus set was basically Dead Magnus directly inspired by the events of the show, which is a spoiler, but we just didn't think of that when we saw it because all the other battle damage repaints made us not question it and nobody expected Magnus to die in Siege UNLESS they read the spoiler text. Here, assuming this means Nemesis is in the show, it is presumably also both, and since the spoilers in the Magnus set revealed the nature of that figure, this set's spoilers are probably Nemesis' origin or something similar.
