What I would love to get is a voyager Scourge to go with Cyclonus and Galvatron, even if Galvatron gets a leader figure. They don't need to bother with Cyclonus, the CW figure is great, even with the torso mode built in.

Eh, not only could a new Cyclonus be more unique, it would also be the first one in like 4 years, and not cost like $60 or whatever the CW one costs right now.

TR Hot Rod is excellent, very happy with him and I have no need to ever get another Hot Rod toy (same goes for Kup and Blurr).

But this is more about Rodimus Prime.

I broke my PotP Roddy out after Zelda and I talked about him on the boards. TBH, he was better than I remembered, but I still have problems with the regular robot mode. I wouldn't mind seeing another try, providing it isn't also trying to be Hot Rod.

Scourge ... I thought the older ones were fine sitting at deluxe, but looking at the scale chart, I guess he really is supposed to be voyager. Maybe I'm just used to looking at him in my collection ... I still dislike CW Cyclonus, so I'd rather have him given the choice.

I wouldn't mind it if Roddy worked like Siege Magnus / the G1 toy. A cap that didn't make sense without the trailer. As long as the trailer turns into a really nice battle station and the cab wasn't too terrible I think it'd be alright.

G1 Roddy might have worked better if he was fully articulated with a removable Matrix. Since we already have Primes Roddy and I still have the old Fansprojects upgrade kit I'd rather they make Roddy a 100% great Rodimus Prime instead of shoehorning in Hot Rod's alt. mode.

I know there's an episode where Roddy separates from his trailer and look nothing like Hot Rod, but I can't find it for the life of me.

Agreed that I'd rather we were given a dedicated Rodimus, preferable with the trailer built-in to his transformation.
As for the episode where we see his trailer "detach", you're thinking of "The Face of Nijika".

I have a love/hate with the PotP Rodimus. I don't like the huge leader as it is out of scale with 97% of my stuff, admittedly I'm a relatively new collector and everything is from this trilogy and the last. Plus I don't like how the windshield hangs down over the butt, Hot Rod cannot properly sit down.

Apparently people on the TFW boards are saying they know leakers who agree this is real and that it has a headsculpt of his busted-up face from the movie, so...cool? I have zero interest in this, and I really hope that this doesn't somehow turn out to be the "Alternate Universe" OP that's coming because that would make no sense (and I want it to be Shattered Glass), but I guess the fact that it exists and has possibly it's own head sculpt is cool for those who want it?

If it really is Corpse Convoy, you can use the trailer to properly display him laying down and dying. You just need the machines for his lifesigns fading. I think we even have all the characters to complete the whole scene, if we use MP Exosuit as Daniel.

Fellow Seibertronian Sentinel Prime made us aware of a post form Reddit featuring what appears to be a sleeper mode redeco of Earthrise "leader" Optimus Prime. What is most convincing about this is the fact that most of the "colour" comes from the plastic rather than paint which wouldn't be the case were it a custom.

I like that they'll make battle damaged versions of figures, and black and white versions, but we still don't have a black and white battle damaged optimus prime. Really that's the only time you see Optimus in black and white like that, when he's had the s**t kicked out of him by Megatron.

Meh...if it was the predicable Nemesis Prime, or some other character sharing the same body (a s others have mentioned SG etc...) I would be interested, but as this is literally the same character, just portraying him at his lowest point, it holds no interest to me

It's definitely not gonna be mainline, but I'm not sure it'll be Selects either. Some people are speculating this was gonna be the SDCC exclusive. I'm betting it'll end up like the toy-colors Refraktor pack, as a non-Selects fan channel exclusive.

I'll be honest, even though it's Prime's corpse, I might get it just as a stand alone figure. I can't really justify retail Prime because it's so similar to Siege Prime, but something about this color scheme just appeals to me
