Btw one thing I hope we will see continue into the third part (after ER) and into the next trilogy are the 5mm ports galore, especially those under the feet. I still think HasTak has not fully yet tapped into the full potential of Weaponizers/Modulators.

I wonder how many people who own BotCon 2000 Shokaract bought that set just to have Shokaract hold that Matrix.Gauntlet101010 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Close, but that one's shaped a bit differently. ^ I was at BC2000. I straight up traded my Shockarackt and Apelinq for Car Robots Baldigus &JRX, (which were brand-spanking new at the time) and some *store credit* with the vendor I used later. I would have got Build King, but it wasn't out yet.
Back to Earthrise...so I was 100% wrong about ER Starscream being a mere reshell of Siege Starscream. Can anyone tell from photos if ER Megatron will have any parts sharing /engineering with Siege Megatron, or is it different altogether?

Siege and ER Starscream do not share any parts, but the Megatrons do; the arms, the thighs and feet. The transformation is also largely identical.

I do think it's a learning process... and so far the Leaders have figured it out best... Between Shockwaves attechments/hover platform Ultra Magnus being Ultra Mangus, and Astrotrain doing pretty good with the backapck full of Dakka.

I thought that about Siege and ER prime... and was *very* surprised... maybe ER Megs learned some new tricks (judging by the really bad "spear" I don't think he did). I do like the idea of a solid body tank instead of an "h-tank"... but it doesn't bother me enough to swap out the Siege or Netflix one...

I pre ordered Airwave from Target . months ago. I have no clue however when any retailer will start carrying any wave 2. I think June was the original timeframe, but with all that's happened, and some places just now getting wave 1, I'm not expecting anything anytime soon

Re: Transformers War for Cybertron: Earthrise Discussion Thread
Not a fan of the Air Razor figure at all.
The "theme/gimmick" for this line should've focused more on the Quintesson's IMO. But if "Bridges" where their focus then it should've been Space Bridges.
If 5-10 of those Microbots had a 3rd mode that combined to make a Space Bridge with Deluxe figures like Ironworks and Air Razor playing a part in it, then I'm sure they'd be flying off of shelves.
Quintesson's ranged from Human to Scout size in Season 3 not Voyager class... Allicon's should be Voyager, Gnaw/Sharticon's should be Deluxe while Quintesson's should've been Micro Masters or Legends class with a Scraplet alt-mode. And every last one of them would've sold like hotcakes.
True or not..?

Why should the Allicon be a Voyager? They were roughly the same size as Kup and Hot Rod in the movie - and much smaller than Ultra Magnus on the show.

Also Air Razor? She's not a character in this line, so surely you mean Air Wave.
Also when you say micro bots, are you on about the Micromasters or battle masters like Sound Barrier? I'd think it'd be pretty silly for the Micromasters to turn into that my self. After all, they're needed to man the bases.

Fuser and Blast Master? Yeah, I might go for those. It's a pretty nice shuttle mode. Airwave? Easy pass. I don't have shelf space for all the interconnecting base modes in this line.

If the main theme of this line was Quintessons, I would be buying less figures than I already plan to considering most of my buys from this line are the modulators, or other base forming characters.
I enjoy the little base building aspect of the Modulators because they're neat little $20 bases, designed to be bases, as opposed to the $50 scrapheaps from Titans Return. Plus, not every kid is going to the $150 Titan class figures for the Micromasters and Battlemasters to operate, so these are a good alternative.
It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I like that we're getting a cheaper way of city building as opposed to using the (mostly) forced base modes from Titans Return, and trying to figure out how to force the Titans to work together for a city. Plus, I can't wait to have a little display with Omega, Sky Lynx, and the Astro-Squad all getting ready to launch. I would include Astrotrain, but I kinda prefer his Train mode.

The same reason Springer is a Voyager. I can post about 5 pictures from Season 3 where Springer, Kup and Blur are the same height. Plus Voyager class Allicon's IMO would be bigger threats and better quality.sol magnus wrote:YoungPrime wrote:Not a fan of the Air Razor figure at all.

It could be argued that Springer isn't just a voyager because of height but for parts count to help with the triple forming aspect, there's always more to it then height.
There's also the possibility that by making it a deluxe, they're thinking of the fans who will be troop building.

Who said they still can't if it was a Voyager..? 7 Different SIEGE Seekers flew off shelves last year. Plus an 8th one (Hot Link) doing well to. All of which are the same mold for $30 a piece.ZeroWolf wrote:It could be argued that Springer isn't just a voyager because of height but for parts count to help with the triple forming aspect, there's always more to it then height.

But I'd be okay with this current Allicon if the alt-mode didn't looks like this:

Hopefully it's just not proper transformed because the initial plan to buy 4 of these is plummeting to 0. But feel free to buy as many of them as you like.

People bought those seekers because they were different characters of a type that has 17(!) variations. It's harder to get people to troop build at a voyager level because of price and space. Plus I think there's little hope of a mis-transformation there but who knows till it shows up in stores. I'll be getting mine online, little hope of UK bricks and mortar getting it in.

I'm troop building Alicon. I agree his alt. mode could be better, but it's also the only official version we've ever gotten. Plus it's good enough for my Quintesson army.

The price of them is still relative.
$30 a pop!
So I believe the same people who spent $210+ on 7 Voyagers class Seekers of the same mold last year (4 of them for the sake of troop building since rainmakers only had one feature while Red Wing wasn't on Sunbow at all) wouldn't mind buying 2 or more Voyager class Allicon's if they had made them that way instead of Quintessons.

I think the Alicons should have had better alt modes and been voyagers. While the Sharkticons being smaller deluxe. The Quintessons being double micromaster size or the 10$ price point. But thats just me, I wont be buying any of them since I got the upgraded legends class 3rd pary Sharkticons and Alicons with the roughly legends size Quintessons KO's or whatever they were. If Hasbro/Takara had done that, I would have spent a whole lot of money.

What are these Quentisons everyone's talking about? We've just seen the Judge right? Also, did they redo the sharkitcon's again, or do we just have the... (legion?) ones from Titan's Return? Feel like I missed something here. ALicon looks cool.. but those arms are *really* phoned in...
